This product seems very unique. I don't think I have seen many serums with charcoal as the main ingredient. The colouring is fun and doesn't leave my face black. I was worried it might be gritty but it just seems like a regular gel serum. My main issue with the instructions and the ingredients. The serum is suggested for morning and evening use but with AHA and BHAs, this is an exfoliating serum. To my understanding, exfoliating serums should not be used this often. I'd use this maybe every other day.

Goodbye pores
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this Garnier Skin Active AHA + BHA Charcoal Pore-Purifying Serum for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes. I have been noticing that my pores have been less visible. It even looks like I have less pores to be honest. I find that this blends well with my other facial products I use. Don’t worry, even though the serum is black, it doesn’t leave your face looking discolored. I find I don’t even have to put a lot on, just 3-4 drops. It absorbs so quickly, which makes my skin routine go faster and my face has been looking clear and fresh throughout the day and night.

Refreshing
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was really excited for the opportunity to try out this product. The ingredients seemed really great. I applied it after the charcoal, micellar water, and found that the products worked well together. The serum is more on the watery side. Despite the color of the bottle, it didn’t leave any color on my face and absorbed fairly quickly. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks, but I feel that my skin looks more moisturized. Have not noticed a significant difference in terms of my pores but I will continue to use it to see if there’s any further effects, but overall pretty happy with the product.

I was very intrigued about the charcoal component of this serum. The product has a nice scent and despite its dark pigment, it absorbs very well into the skin, without leaving residue. I used this serum nightly, a few times a week. I noticed that my skin texture improved after a few uses and I was pleased that the serum was not at all drying my skin. Overall, I enjoyed this product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for an affordable BHA pore-purifying serum.

The product I received was Garnier SkinActive Charcoal Pore-Purifying Face Serum with AHA + BHA and I have been using this twice a day for the past week and I must say, it has been a game changer. I find my that my skin is now looks more even-toned in colour. The skin texture has also improved dramatically. It feels smoother and more supple. The serum itself is easy to apply and absorbs quickly into the skin with no sticky or oily feeling. The scent is light and refreshing. I would recommend.

Great Serum for Enlarged Pores

My skin is combination and I tend to have enlarged pores and I have been using this serum for the past few weeks. The colour of this serum is unique and black unlike any other product I’ve ever used. I used this product midweek as a pick me up to help with my skin texture. But this product t is very gentle and over time I was able to use it a few times a week. I noticed upon continued use my pores didn’t look as enlarged and my skin texture is also much smoother than before. #topbox #topboxcircle

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have been trying this AHA-BHA Charcoal serum for over a week now, night and day and I am amazed how it works with the pores. My skin seems more mattified and unified. It is also acting on my sebum production I believe it's due to salicylic acid but I had to hydrate a lot in order to avoid dryness as my first application gave me a little bit of tightness on the skin. Other than that I am satisfied with the product, it absorbs very quickly and has a very light scent.I woudl definitely include it in my daily routine. I got to try the Garnier SkinActive AHA+BHA with Charcoal Serum. I love the beautiful recyclable glass bottle with its convenient dropper. I use this serum every morning. I apply a few drops on my face. I like the fast absorption. This is the first time that I use a black serum and once I gently smooth into my skin, there’s no black residue. My skin feels smooth, moisturized and I have less breakouts.
I love Garnier because of its cruelty free products, its vegan formula and its 100% recyclable glass bottles.
