Hard to Clean
We have 2 of these seats for our kids they are easy to install and adjust. The only issue I originally had with the seat was that while in the rear facing position it is difficult to reach the release to loosen the straps as it is located within a small pocket on the front. The new issue I have had the misfortune of dealing with is the difficulty that is to properly clean the base. Our son had vomited while in his seat, as it turns out this seat base has crevasses that cannot be properly cleaned. Picture is an area that filled with vomit but cannot be cleaned out as the area opens up to a larger section that cannot be accessed.

Love our new seat
We got this seat and love it.
I don’t find it an issue to release the harness strap rear facing at all. I have found that once in awhile it can be a little more difficult to tighten than our son’s infant seat, but if you pull the slack out of the hips and have the chest clip pulled down and then pull the slack out from the back of the seat first, then pull on the strap, it’s really easy.
Our son likes being up higher in it.
Haven’t had to clean it out yet but it doesn’t seem as bad as some seats out there.
It’s quite compact front to back.

Dangerous
I do not recommend this car seat. I’ve had it for my daughter for 4 years, all of a sudden the 5 point harness does NOT stay tight. If my daughter leans forward or pulls on the straps they EASILY come loose. This is extremely dangerous and has made the car seat un- useable. A car seat that was supposed to last 10 years, which I paid good money for, did not last 4 years and has now become dangerous. I have reached out to graco with no response so it goes to show how little they actually care about the safety of our children in these seats. Do not buy.

Disappointed
I bought this 3 months ago. For my daughter all I used until she was old enough were Graco products (she’s 15 now). I’m disappointed to have to re-tighten the strap for the base every few days for my 1 year old son. CPST that I spoke to thought it might be my back seat however, I just bought a completely different vehicle and no matter what, it slides and has to be tightened again. It’s a safety concern in my eyes. What would happen if the baby is in the seat and it doesn’t stay tight?

Not for children prone to car sickness
We have 2 of these seats for our kids. Up until today the only complaint had been that while in the rear facing position it is difficult to reach the release to loosen the straps as it is located within a small pocket on the front. That however is a non-issue compared to the realization of today. Our son has puked while in his seat. As it turns out this seat base has crevasses that cannot be cleaned. I now fear this seat may 4ever smell of vomit.

Good for the most part
I’ve had this car seat over a year and find it really difficult to tighten the UAS when installing. No matter how much we seem to tighten in the car seat seems to move more than it should. We’ve also found that the actual seat straps are really difficult to tighten and don’t seem to get tight enough to be safe, not sure if it’s something we’re doing wrong or what. Other then that my son likes sitting in it and it fits nicely in my RAV

Safety with a lot of rattles.
Purchased this for my grandkids and it looks like a quality product. Easy to install and appears safe for the little ones. Only issue I have so far is how much rattling there is from this product. Lots of loose buckles and rollers that make the car ride a noisy one even without the kids in the car. Will need to wrap all loose buckles with rubber tape to quiet it down.
