The infant car seat weighs just 3.2 kg (7.2 lb), making it easy to carry baby from car to stroller. The 4-position adjustable base with level indicator ensures an accurate install. Perfectly Suited
This car seat came with the Graco Modes Pramette Travel System I purchased and it’s perfect! For those saying there’s no support for newborns’ heads, prior to leaving the hospital, you should be instructed to use rolled up blankets or towels to support the sides of their head until baby gains more neck control. This seat is a bit heavy to carry postpartum but very easy to install and remove. For those saying it’s not safe to put on top of a chair or table, baby shouldn’t be in a car seat unless in a car. This seat is perfect for getting from point A to point B. Removing the newborn insert was easy, too!

Don’t love this car seat
I have a few complaints about this car seat:
- the head rest is very flat and I find it does not support baby’s head in the car. I wish it had side padding.
- the handle is curved to be bigger where your hand goes so it makes for awkward carrying.
- no seatbelt pads included, so the rough edge of the straps may run on baby’s neck.
My biggest issue is the head rest. It’s so flimsy I feel like I need to hold baby’s head in the car to stop it from going side to side. I wish they included side pads or even made them available to purchase on the website.

This model has no shoulder pads
This car seat does not have shoulder pads for the harness so the straps dig into baby’s neck and leave a big red mark. It’s summer now so it’s hard to pull the fabric of shirts up to protect. I phoned Graco and they offered to send me shoulder pads since this model does not come with any. They send me one single shoulder pad and then would not respond to my email saying I need a second. We should have gone with a different brand of car seat.
