Features
Say hello to naturally friendly Activated Charcoal Mouthwash. Thoughtfully formulated with activated charcoal (made from sustainable bamboo), coconut oil, tea tree oil, fresh mint to freshen breath, and xylitol because it rocks. Perfect Mouthwash
I received this product to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and love it! I’m not a fan of mouthwashes because it leaves my mouth dry but I actually enjoyed using this one and only because it doesn’t do that! It has a great minty flavour and doesn’t burn (no alcohol) nor is it sweet! However, I love the fact that there is no fluoride in it, uses natural ingredients! I love using this product in the morning and right before going to bed, this way I don’t wake up with bad breathe, trust me- it works! The only thing I hated about this product is the fact that the lid wouldn’t come off easily, took so much time figuring it out the first time! Because of this I’m taking 1 star off.

Not to my liking
I received this product as part of the stellar product panel testing program. I was very intrigued by this product because of it's claims as being healthier and more natural then regular brand mouthwash.. however I found that there were a couple of issues with this mouthwash that deemed it impossible for use. Number one the fact that the liquid is black as opposed to the usual light colored mouthwash products meant that my sink and surrounding area got dirty from each use. Secondly the taste of this product was not to my liking. The initial taste was not terrible but the lingering after taste was just not very good. All in all I would not use this product and just stick to regular mouthwash.

MINTY FRESH
I am so happy I got a chance to try out HELLO Activated charcoal toothpaste and mouthwash through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have been switching over all my health and wellness products in the past 2 years to all natural... and I have now found my new toothpaste and mouthwash. Like any natural product there is always a learning curve, for this product its merely not screaming at the sight of your black mouth as you brush and just rinsing your sink after use as the charcoal does make it messy. The taste is fresh and not overpowering, the ingredient list is fantastic and simple just the way I like it. Organic coconut oil, tea tree oil and the activated charcoal is even made from sustainable bamboo.

It’s okay...
I received this mouthwash as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. It’s hot in my bathroom covered for about a month because I was not keen on the idea of using a charcoal mouthwash. I finally tried the toothpaste today and loved it so I gave the mouthwash a try. I liked that it did not have alcohol and was not stinging my mouth like other mouthwashes do. As a rule, I don’t use mouthwash us because I do not like the taste or how they make my mouth feel. This one tasted okay (light mint) and didn’t burn my mouth but I don’t think that I would go out of my way to purchase it again.

Black mouth wash? Actually likes it a lot!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We are big mouth wash users in our house so when I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I knew we’d get use out of it ans was eager to compare it to typical mouth washes. I’m glad to report that it definitely holds its own; super fresh, whitening and easy to rinse off ( black teeth? Yuck!). We’ve been using it every day for about 3 weeks and really like it. I love the natural ingredients and it makes me feel better about using a whitening product while breastfeeding my son! A from this mama!

Not for me
I received hello activated charcoal mouthwash as a product sample through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
I was excited to give this mouthwash a try after not having a Flouride free, SLS free mouthwash available in quite sometime.
I found that this mouthwash wasn’t for me as I found it to have a mouth coating feeling and didn’t have the best minty fresh feeling which left me feeling disappointed after brushing my teeth.
After using this product a few times and feeling this way each time, I’ve decided to

Works like a charm, just a little messy!
I received this mouthwash as part of the Stellar Panel. I found it worked really well keeping a fresh breath for hours after use, combined with the toothpaste I found my teeth were whiter and felt squeaky clean! This mouthwash doesn't burn like most name brands but it does have a different taste. The only real downside was the mess, any little splash left a charcoal mark which wipes up easily but should be noted! However if there was no mess, I don't believe it would be an actual charcoal product!
Definitely worth trying if you are on the fence!

A great mouthwash!
I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I had never tried an activated charcoal mouthwash before so I was really curious. After two weeks using it I have to say I’m impressed. The mouthwash tastes really good, and it’s made of « naturally-friendly ingredients » (I have to admit I need to further research the meaning of this description - are they all natural?). I had to get used to the colour, but after using it my mouth feels super fresh and clean. Of all the natural mouthwashes i have tried it’s hands down my favourite.

Love the taste!
I received this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel. What I really love about this toothpaste is that it is fluoride free and contains natural ingredients. I enjoy the taste, and it does a great job cleaning my teeth. My teeth felt smooth, clean, and appeared shiny and white after using this toothpaste. What I didn't love about the product is the mess. Even when you spit carefully, there is still charcoal splatter and it is a pain to clean up, particularly after it has dried. It's not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.

Great product but not so great taste
This mouthwash has a very odd taste that I honestly couldn't wait to get rid of, however, it did leave my mouth feeling nice and clean! The mouthwash itself is black, so it can get messy. I'm not sure I really enjoyed the feeling of this mouthwash while swishing or even after spitting, it left a weird sensation in my mouth, even though there is no alcohol in the product. I do love that it is cruelty free and made with natural ingredients such as coconut oil, teatree oil and mint! I feel after 1 use my teeth were a bit brighter, although, I still do wish it had a better taste. If the taste was improved I would give this product 5 stars!

Yummy mouthwash a big hit
I recently starting using the hello Activated Charcoal Mouthwash, and it has been great! Really tasty and my mouth felt so refreshed afterward. Like the toothpaste, it didn’t have the intense burn that a lot of mouthwashes have, so I’d be comfortable giving it to my kids when they’re old enough to use mouthwash.
I’ve used it together with the toothpaste for a super fresh mouth, but I’ve also used the mouthwash on its own a few times after a heavy meal or when I want a quick refresh. I’m a big fan!
I’m pleased that the ingredients are natural as well, as I’m trying to shift my family over to more natural home and beauty products. I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but will purchase in future for my family.

Still a bit unsure...
I cant decide what my opinion is of this one. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was pretty excited to try this along with Hello's Activated charcoal toothpaste (loved the toothpaste). The taste of this mouthwash isnt so pleasant at first but after a few swishes it kinda goes away. But after it definitely leaves a long lasting fresh taste in your mouth... so you can see my decision dilemma. Overall I probably wouldnt get again but still consider it a good natural alternative to conventional mouthwash.

One of the best mouthwashes I've tried!!!
This mouthwash was wonderful and I will definitely be purchasing more of it!
It had a nice, clean, refreshing taste that lasted for hours. I can't use any other brand of mouthwash as they are too harsh for my super sensitive teeth and make my mouth hurt. This does the opposite! Nice light minty taste and my mouth felt very clean and fresh after.
I was a bit worried based on the colour that it would be super messy. But, it washed up easily and left no mess. First time trying a charcoal mouthwash, but am glad I did! I try to buy natural/clean products when I can, so I was so pleased to see how natural this product was, definitely a bonus and performed as well, if not better, than other brands out there.
I'm not sure of its whitening properties as my teeth are fairly white already.. but I swear they look a touch brighter.

Different Look, Familiar Fresh, Minty Flavour...
I was drawn to this mouthwash, for its colour alone, as it's not everyday you see a mouthwash as black as night.
Unique look aside, I can say that this mouthwash, which I received as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, doesn't disappoint. It's minty flavour is not overpowering, but left my mouth feeling fresh and clean for hours after use.
I removed a star because, in spite of its claim to be "natural", there was still a warning not to swallow this product. I would assume that, if a product was truly natural, I wouldn't have to worry if I ingested any of it, accidentally, which might happen given the nature of the product.
I'd likely still purchase this mouthwash for myself in the future, but I'm hesitant to buy into the "natural" hype.

Intensely fresh feeling!
I have to say I really love how fresh this feels when I rinse my mouth. The black colour always makes me a bit nervous, but it rinses away from the sink very easily and does not seem to stain at all, so I’m getting used to it. It complements your teeth brushing routine very well or even as a stand alone when you just want to freshen your breath quickly. My smile seems whiter too after each use, I’m so impressed! I think I will be switching to this brand for now on.

My favourite natural mouthwash!
I have tried 3 other natural mouthwash brands and this is by far my favourite! Slightly messier due to the black colour but worth it for the awesome fresh mouth feeling from nice clean ingredients! I'm very picky about personal care products so it was great to try this brand I had never heard of and be blown away. The mint level is JUST right, not too strong and not too weak.
10/10 would definitely recommend to others and would purchase again.

Fresh product
I received the charocaot activated Toothpaste and mouth rinse via Stellar Product Testing Panel and started using it for 1 week. At first, it was scary as my mouth became all black. But after rinsing everything off, it felt very fresh and natural compared to my regular toothpaste. After 3 days of using both products, my teeth started to get whiter. Make sure you follow the instructions of both products. The only downside is my teeth seemed to get a bit sensitive after a few days, but after one week, it seems back to normal.

A bit messy, but works great!
I received this product as part of the Stellar product testing panel. But I will be buying more.
The taste is great and On busy “mom“ mornings I’m not ashamed to say that it is sometimes the only thing I use.
The mouthwash is black. I have to be careful where I spit, if you’re lucky enough to already have a black sink then you might be able to be a bit more carefree.
I love that it’s cruelty free, though I am surprised that, boasting all natural ingredients, it still contains warnings to keep away from children and to not swallow. It seems like some thing all natural and alcohol free should also be less dangerous. I don’t think that would stop me from buying it again, but it does make me wonder about the level of “natural“ and “healthy“ for this product.

Looks strange, tastes great!
I honestly had never heard of a charcoal mouthwash when I received this product so I was skeptical. When I read about the naturally-friendly ingredients and more importantly what was NOT in the product, I gave it a chance.
It smells minty fresh but looks like dark grey water. I was pleased with the taste and happy it didn't burn the way some mouthwashes do. I was also very happy to see once I spit it out that my teeth were not grey.
It left my mouth feeling fresh and there wasn't any weird aftertaste. I think it might have even helped with morning breath.
I hadn't seen this product in store before but was able to find it last time I was at the drugstore for an affordable price.

Loved this mouthwash!
Charcoal mouthwash? I wasn’t so sure! After receiving hello Activated Charcoal Mouthwash as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel, I’m converted. My mouth felt refreshed and my teeth felt as though I had been to the dentist. As a mama who tries to promote a more natural household, I was thrilled to see the friendly ingredient list where I could pronounce and recognize all the ingredients. My teeth are whiter and my mouth feels like it had a deep clean without having to give up my morning coffee! Thank you, hello!

Good Product, but not for me
I love the sustainable packaging of this product and the look of it is appealing. The dark colour of the mouthwash didn't bother me, I think it's really cool and didn't find it caused much of a mess in the sink. My only issue with the product was the taste, it's not terrible - I am just not a fan. And the taste lingered afterwards making it definitely not my thing. Outside of the taste the product was good. No burning sensation which was nice.

Great mouthwash!
I am glad to try this product as a part of Stellar Product Testing Panel. Even on the first time i used it, it already left my mouth feeling refreshed. The taste is not over powerful and it contains the right amount of mint. I especially love knowing that it contains no harmful chemicals as it is something I may ingest some amounts of. The best thing about it is this product contains natural ingredients and at the same time not overly strong but it leaves your mouth feeling clean and your breath smell good!

Good Natural Mouthwash!!
I received this mouthwash to try in Exchange for my honest review, as part of the Stellar Review Panel. Overall, I like it - and I will likely purchase it in the future. The taste and fresh feeling isn’t as strong as I’m used to in other mouthwashes so it took a bit of getting used to. I love that this is a much cleaner and more natural alternative to previous brands. The bottle I received is fairly small so didn’t last that long but I think that’s just because it was a sample. The full size looks larger.

Great ingredients, unpleasant taste.
Our family takes pride in assessing the ingredients of all the products that we use on a daily basis. We were eager to try a more natural mouthwash in our oral health routine. After a few days of using this mouthwash, we definitely noticed our teeth to feel clean and fresh. Paired with the delicious hello fluoride free charcoal toothpaste, we felt our mouths were very clean! What we found hard to enjoy was the taste of the mouthwash. It is unfortunately not pleasant to taste, and we had to stop using the product. I would compare it to black liquorice, which is not my preference. While we were thrilled to see a mouthwash with such natural ingredients, we were not willing to sacrifice taste in the process.

As part of a Stellar Product Testing Panel, I have given this mouthwash a 3 star rating based on the following points below:
Pros:
- I love the fact that this mouthwash uses naturally friendly ingredients. That is a huge plus for me, as in the past few years I have made a genuine effort to use products that have natural ingredients.
- My mouth felt fresh and clean after using the mouthwash (although I didn't like the color in my mouth - see below)
- The taste of the mouthwash was nice
Cons:
- I didn't like the fact that my entire mouth was black, although I do realize that this is a charcoal mouthwash. I didn`t enjoy the color in my mouth.
Overall I did like the mouthwash - it felt clean and fresh, although the color in my mouth definitely takes some getting uses to.

Wow what a punch!
Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel I was able to try out the new hello Activated Charcoal Mouthwash and I was pleasantly surprised. The colour of the mouthwash might throw you off at first but it exceeded all my expectations. One thing that stood out the most was how fresh my mouth felt after. I was surprised how minty it was and it helped that all the ingredients are naturally friendly. It definitely has a big taste contrary to what you may think from the black liquid presented to you!

It’s nice to see another natural ingredient mouthwash out there! I received the Hello mouthwash as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’m glad I did. It’s great to see that another brand is trying to develop products that are geared towards those that read ingredients and try to use products that are made without some toxins. It did take some time to get used to spitting out dark liquid, though! Overall, makes my mouth feel fresh and I would purchase again.

Cleanest clean with charcoal!
hello! I received the hello Activated Charcoal Mouthwash from Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm a strong believer that we can still use all the products of today using ingredients that are naturally derived. This mouthwash definitely fits the bill with coconut oil and natural mint.
Although it is a color not normally associated with mouthwash, blue and green dyes technically shouldn't be. Black from the charcoal is the cleanest clean and it's a natural color. It left my mouth feeling very clean, refreshing with no alcohol burn. Such an amazing feeling! Even my 6 year old gave it a try and he doesn't try anything new!
And at the end of the day, I'm happy to use a product that fits my gluten-free lifestyle, that's is cruelty free and vegan, so all those animals who don't have a voice.

Love this mouthwash!
I have found using "regular" mouthwash tends to leave this really strong, artificial after-taste, almost too sterile. This mouthwash made my mouth feel extremely fresh, but in a really natural way. There was no burning sensation and i feel great using it because the ingredients are all natural. While the blackness is surprising at first, it was really easy to wash down the drain and leave my sink clean.

Good mouthwash
I received this product about a month ago and while I haven’t noticed and whitening of my teeth, I have enjoyed it. The hello Activated Charcoal Mouthwash has a subtle mint taste. It did leave a bit of an aftertaste in my mouth for a few minutes after using. Overall it left my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. My favourite part about this mouthwash is that it uses naturally-friendly ingredients. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this mouthwash.
