No more trips to the salon!
I recently dyed my hair a golden blonde to give myself a more natural look. My hair is naturally dirty blonde, so when my roots started to get out of hand I decided to pick up a bottle of this. WOW. Like seriously WOW. I noticed a difference after my first use. After 3 times of using this product my hideous roots were gone. It also brightened up my colour! I've received loads of compliments too, my mom thought I had dyed my hair again. Two weeks ago a friend of mine accidentally dyed her hair orange. It was awful. I recommended this stuff to her and within 4 uses her hair was a beautiful blonde with no trace of orange. I love this product, especially as a college student as salon visits are expensive!

So good it’s sold out everywhere!
I have reached out to over 6 different drug stores, and they’re all sold out of this product! The lightening spray is very easy to apply, and results can be seen after your first use! I have been cherishing my last bottle, that is now finished, for my roots during the COVID-19 pandemic where I couldn’t see a hairdresser. Now that hair dressers are open, I still don’t even need to go because my entire head of hair is still blonde! I recommend this to anyone who has coloured blonde hair, or even light brown hair that wants some extra highlights! I would say that the bottle is on the smaller side, so if you love the product as much as I do, buy two.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT
So I have naturally blonde hair that has faded to dirty blonde over the years. I use this product no more than once a week until I get my desired colour and then touch up every once and a while when I see roots. I see a lot about how this damages your hair, and while that is true because this is a bleach product, there is a way to prevent it! My hair is down to almost my waist and its the healthiest its ever been.
Here are some tips I can offer:
- When using this product make sure you get tangles out of your wet hair BEFORE you use it so that you're not pulling on your hair.
- In the shower use a moisturizing shampoo and condition (even if you have oily hair), I use the shea moisture retention shampoo.
- Use a leave in conditioner every time you wash, I use the shea moisture hydrate & repair leave in (the light blue spray)
- Make sure to tone! Since this is a bleach product it WILL make your hair brassy. I use the OGX purple drops in my shampoo because they aren't as damaging as regular purple shampoo. This will also help to make your hair lighter and brighter!
- Try not to use a ton of heat on your hair, wait until its about 80% dry to blow dry on medium heat or use the sun to help you develop the colour instead!
- Give your hair some time to repair itself between applications, use masks (i really like the shea moisture manuka honey one)
- silk pillowcases and silk scrunchies help with breakage as well :)
Thats all the advice I can think of right now!
I hope this helps people who are debating buying this product, I believe its worth it only if you know how to properly use it without causing irreversible damage!!

Best lightened I've ever used
I saw that I could apply for a free sample from my freebies.Com website..got the shampoo that lightens blondes...it comes with 3 sachets of shampoo,which you use for 3 days in a row..and boy did it work great!
I'd had some highlights put in but my hair just didn't look as good as when I'd first been to my salon....was kind of dull looking and limp.
Now,after the three days of shampooing...BAM!!...it really DID lighten my hair .I love this product and will be purchasing not only the lightening shampoo,but also that spray that you'd use while sun tanning. It's great knowing there's a great product like this...it will certainly make me look and feel a lot better...thank you John Frieda !

Subtle Highlights
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This lightening spray works fantastic! The results are gradual and leaves my hair shiny and gives it subtle, natural highlights. I love the fact that you can spray it all over or just on specific areas of your hair to get the effect you want! It works with heat so you don't have to go out in the sun which can cause damage to your hair! I received this #freeproduct to use and write a review about it. Makes you brassy
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This product is okay if you can't get to the salon, but it will definitely make you brassy which is what happened to me. I tried to counter it with purple shampoo but I still wasn't a fan. Given that it's a spray option, it's hard to evenly distribute to make it not splotchy. Since I wasn't a huge fan of the scent or the application, I don't think I would repurchase, also it's going to mess with your hair if you plan on going to a salon any time soon, but if not it's an affordable option if you can get the application right. #johnfriedacanada #TRYWITHTOPBOX

Amazing product! What blondes have been waiting for.
First off, I've tried many many products on my hair to keep the multi-tonal blonde I've had for years. My natural hair is a dark blonde (which I do love) and right now it has traces of my dark blonde underneath (closer to my neck) with lots of dark golden tones and buttery to light blonde highlights. But I hate having to colour my hair often.
This spray is the single most valuable product on the market. It lightened my hair all over and made it a beautiful sunny blonde like never before, it was truly captivating. I will continue to use this as often as I can before I feel I have to colour my hair. Trust me when I say dark blonde, by winter time it looks more light brown. This spray was just perfect!
I also use it with the go blonder shampoo/conditioner. John Frieda you saved blondes!!!:)

SUPERB!! Go Blonder Spray
Go blonder spray is a SUPERB product! How can a few careless users drive this product off the shelves? Not once... I repeat not once did anything about this product fail!! Always easy to use... spray pump never clogged; product was always a fine mist when expelled; no harsh fumes; no scalp irritation! NEVER. EVER! I’m naturally blonde; of a certain age where white hair is peeking out around my hairline; I use faithfully once/week in wintertime to keep my hair bright. BRING THIS PRODUCT BACK!
