SPOOL SIZES in Silk and Corn Fibers are different. Please Note before buying
Corn and Silk Flosses are 100 X more expensive to create than plastic coated in teflon.
Because they are all natural and compostable we created them to NOT be as indestructible as plastic. Like anything in nature..it will have strong and weak points. so if it snaps..double the strand and continue flossing. FLOSSPOT silk spools are 40M and Corn spools are 50 M (as corn is cheaper to produce than silk) so no the 50M Spool canna fit into the 40M spool bottle but the 40M spool and the 50M spool fit into the Stainless Steel bottle..I hope this helps. Corn husk floss coated in candililla from a shrub is a great alternative to conventional plastic flosses coated in Teflon. 50 Metre spool size works out to approx 200 uses per spool. Strong unless you have excessively tight contacts..so double the floss for strength if necessary. No natural product is ever as consistent as plastic..but unlike plastic - this is back in the soil degrading within 45 days depending on soil Temp. Overall strong, superior grip and feels more absorbent than any of the conventional flosses IâÂÂve used. Refill the stainless jar..forever.

The floss is surprisingly strong, does a great job, and not as harsh as some of the plastic floss. The only complaint I have is that it only fits into the metal jar and not the glass.

Great eco-friendly and cruelty-free floss alternative
I've been using my Flosspot Gold Vegan Floss for over a month now. I'm very impressed by its durability and how easy it is to use! I actually don't own a Flosspot glass container at all. I leave the floss in its original paper packaging and cut off a piece with a small pair of scissors when I need to use it. So far my system is working great!

LARGER SPOOL!
50 Metre spool means this spool cannot fit the original glass bottle. The silk spool is 40 Meters so the Silk spool fits both containers, but the large Corn Husk 50 Meter spool fits ONLY the Stainless Steel Jar. Please note before choosing. KMH

disappointed, not as strong as the original
I purchased the starter Flosspot Gold that comes with the stainless steel holder (not the older, glass holder) in Sept. 2019 and was very pleased with the vegan floss that came with it. After six months (April 2020) I purchased the Flosspot vegan refill and the floss is NOT the same; it breaks constantly and has gotten stuck between my teeth, as other users have reported. It's really too bad because the whole point is to reduce waste and reuse, and now I'm going to look for a different product.

Doesn't fit, breaks easily
Unfortunately I bought these refills and they didn't fit in my original Flosspot glass mason jar so I had to order the stainless steel container which is pictured but not included. On top of that the floss breaks too easily. I will go back to the original silk Flosspot.

Unfortunately it breaks
I bought this dental floss for the right reasons (vegan!) for myself and my husband but unfortunately it easily breaks during every use so far. We tried using it three times now and every time it breaks at the beginning of the flossing adventure... for this main reason we will not be buying this product again or would recommend it to anyone else.
