Description

This stick is a little miracle. It’s coconut and castor oil based so the longer you leave it on, the better! It can be used for SO many things: a shine product when doing braids, a pre-shampoo treatment when hair feels super-dry, sleep with it on (you should see the cute bun cap inside - use it to protect your pillow!), tame fly-aways on damaged hair, to soften and add moisture to edges, and sometimes just for when you want shine and separation with no hold. It goes to work, conditioning and restoring while you go about your life!

Anytime. Anywhere.

  • Daytime use: 1. Apply to any dry or damaged hair areas that need restored moisture. 2. Create a braid, a pony, a bun or just leave your hair down if it looks good and let the balm go to work! 3. Shampoo and condition as usual whenever you're ready.
  • Overnight use: 1. Warm a dab of balm in your hands and work it from middle to ends. 2. Wrap your hair in a high or low bun. 3. Cover using the bun cap inside the box. Sleep! 4. Shampoo and condition as usual in the morning. Tip: This is an oil-based recovery balm and may require one additional shampoo to remove oils completely.

I find it a bit heavy to use directly on my thin/fine hair, so I put some on my fingers and very lightly rub it in my hair (on my ends and at the top of my head to pat down my frizz and baby-hairs). I do find that when my hair is in a bun or a braid and I have applied it directly onto my hair, it looks much too greasy. I expect it would work much better with thicker hair (story of my life). I have used it as a mask, but haven't seen major results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love, love this product. I had a baby a year ago, lots of hair loss, lots of frizziness, and now lots of baby hairs. Used this at night, focus on the dry ends, add a little to the baby hairs. Washed my hair the next day and OMG, it's so much better. I have fine hair. Curly, but straighten it, red naturally, highlighted blonde (so dry). Use as a mask on your hair and wash the next day worked for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great versatile product! Love this! I use it to smooth flyaways when wearing a ponytail and to achieve the slicked center part look in a ponytail. I like it because I can achieve that slicked center part look without it actually being over exaggerated and plastered to my head (I want the trend but without looking like I am fully doing the trend and don’t want to look ike my high school students, ha ha). The product leaves my hair soft and yet still holds well throughout the day. Not hard, crunchy or oily at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Nice product and scent. Immediately smoothed my hair without visible residue. Hair stayed smooth all day. The scent is nice but is too strong for me. I guess i'd describe it as a sweet, floral. I like the scent but it was overwhelming and gave me a headache. If the scent was 1/2 as strong, or less, it would be a great hair smoother. My workplace is supposed to be scent free, too.

The bonus of soft, shiny hair definitely makes this a keeper. I have moderately thick, loose curls so the extra hydration is great for me.

I smooth this on my flyaways (baby hairs) for a sleek, finishedlook when wearing my hair up. It has no noticeable smell. I haven't noticed it making my hair greasy. No problem to wash out. Highly recommended!
