The La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra-fluid Lotion SPF 60 is an innovative, fast-absorbing, matte finish facial suncreen. It is fragance-free, paraben-free, and water-resistant. The broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection, blocks skin from sunburn and from skin reactions as well as UV-induced cell damage.

Recommended Use:  Shake well before use. Apply generously before sun exposure. Reapply as needed, after swimming, towel-drying, perspiring heavily and washing.  Excessive sun exposure is dangerous. Avoid exposure during hours when the sun is at its strongest. Choose a protection factor adapted to your skin type. The sun may cause sunburn, premature aging of the skin and skin cancer. Avoiding the sun, wearing protective clothing and regular use of sunscreens over the years may reduce the chance of these harmful effects.

Caution: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Discontinue use if skin irritation develops or increases. If irritation persists, consult a doctor. Before using on children less than six months of age, consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Do not expose babies and young children directly under the sun.

I have very fair alabaster skin which is seriously sensitive (am celiac and allergic to soy as well) and most facial sunscreens make me break out in tiny red bumps or a rash - this one does not. It is fabulous under makeup, matte finish is superb, and applying once in morning after moisturizer (can add foundation on top once sunscreen soaks in) and it lasts all day. This is the ONLY facial sunscreen I have found that causes zero reaction AND works. I truly hope Well.ca carries this year round as I will be using this indefinitely. Highly recommend - 5 stars all the way

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This sunscreen is effective for sure, and doesn’t exactly leave a white cast. But I have olive skin (and am prone to hyperpigmentation) and end up with white settling into my laugh lines if I’m not careful. It also burns if it gets into my eyes from sweating or swimming. If you’re not doing much outdoors (or it’s not hot) then it’s great. If you’re active skip it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, smooth and affordable sun protection I bought this as a replacement for my usual, much more expensive face sunscreen. I’m quite picky about facial sunscreen: I need something with high protection (What is with all these 15spf for face? What’s that even going to do?) but it has to be lightweight, non-greasy and wear well under make up. This little bottle is perfect. It works just as well as the high end luxury skin care protectors I usually use. I haven’t been able to get the 60spf recently though and I’m afraid it’s been discontinued and replaced with the 59spf!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The best face sunscreen I've used so far. Goes on smooth but leaves a slightly white residue. Definitely matte as it claims to be and does not make my skin greasy at all. (combo skin). Great for under make-up. Not water proof so washes off easy. Small container is easy for travel or on-the-go but don't let the size fool you, a little goes a long way.

I don’t apply to top of eye lids otherwise it irritates my eyes through the day. I used to use a similar Olay product - this one is much lighter [nicer] to wear and half the price.
