Nutritious and delicious
As a Vata dosha according to Ayurveda, I need to incorporate a good amount of oils and fats for my general wellness. I try to mix up the oils that I use as each has its own nutritional profile. This is one that I purchase every winter, I drizzle it on grilled vegetables, baked potatoes, and I also use it to make a vinaigrette (maple syrup, walnut oil, and a good balsamic vinegar). La Tourangelle makes very high-quality oil‘s in my opinion.

Aromatic and light
I recently tried walnut oil as an alternative to olive oil on my bruschettas and OMG it’s delicious. Can also be warmed and used as a dipping oil . The aroma is subtle and doesn’t overpower the palate.
