Don't listen to the reviews that say this smells like lavender...
I'm on a medication that is starting to make me lose my hair in large quantities so I came to well.ca to find something with good reviews to help. So far so good with the immediate effect of giving my hair a bit more bounce and volume, however don't expect this to smell in the least bitt natural. I love the smell of it, don't get me wrong, it's quite sweet and candy like but it smells NOTHING like lavender or even remotely like any sort of plant. It's also very strongly scented (and so is the matching conditioner) and lingers which isn't great since my household has some scent sensitivities so keep that in mind. Can't really comment on the effectiveness of whether my hair falls out any less since I've only used it about 3 times but I guess we'll see.
