When the little person in your life is hurting, relieve his or her pain
or fever for up to eight hours with Children's MOTRIN® Suspension. Made
for children ages 2 to 11, this liquid formula contains 100 milligrams
of ibuprofen per 5-millilitre dose. It fights fever for up to eight
hours while relieving pain caused by sore throat, earache, or toothache.
It also helps relieve cold and cough symptoms. The liquid has a berry
flavour to encourage kids to take their medicine. This bottle contains
120 millilitres of Children's MOTRIN® Liquid Suspension and includes a
dosage cup.
Directions: Shake well before using. Use enclosed dosage cup. If possible, dose according to body weight. Single dose may be repeated every 6 – 8 hours as needed. Do not give more than 4 doses in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
Warning: Stomach bleeding warning: This product may cause stomach bleeding. Symptoms may include: feeling faint, vomiting blood, bloody or black stools. The chance of stomach bleeding is higher if your child: has had stomach ulcers or bleeding problems, takes a blood thinner or steroid drug, takes with other drugs containing an NSAID like acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), ibuprofen, naproxen, or prescription anti-inflammatory drugs. Allergy alert: Ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction, especially in people allergic to ASA. Stop use and get medical help right away if your child has severe itching, hives, swelling of eyes and mouth, skin blisters/rash, difficulty breathing, shock. Do not use if your child is: taking ibuprofen or ASA, allergic to ibuprofen, ASA, salicylates, NSAIDs, or any of the inactive ingredients in this product, right before or after heart surgery, in adults. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have a child that has: ulcers or stomach bleeding, high blood pressure, asthma, heart disease, diabetes, liver or kidney disease is under a doctor’s care for any other serious condition, takes any other medication especially daily low-dose ASA (81 to 325 mg), anticoagulants or corticosteroids, is dehydrated (significant fluid loss) due to continued vomiting, diarrhea or lack of fluid intake. When using this product: take with food or milk if upset stomach occurs, the risk of heart attack or stroke may increase if your child uses more than directed or for longer than directed.
Stop use and ask a doctor if: your child has signs of stomach bleeding (see Stomach bleeding warning above), pain gets worse or lasts for more than 5 days, fever gets worse or lasts for more than 3 days , any new symptoms occur.

Must Have Medicine Chest Staple!
Very effective relief of pain and fever symptoms. LOVE that it doesn't stain, and my kids seem to like the taste and don't put up a fuss when they have to take it, unlike other equivalent products we've tired.

great for your teen with braces !!
So this is a bit out there as I used it for my teen when they went to the orthodontist to get braces and whenever they went for adjustments on them. As their mouth is sore and my kids couldn't swallow pills well I bought liquid Motrin for them. I followed the dosage directions and they were relatively pain free. There is nothing worse than mouth pain. I have shared this with other parents and I have been thanked numerous times !

Helps you and your child get a good night's sleep
This product is great, made even greater by it being dye free. My son can't have red food dye so this is perfect for us. The kids love the taste aND I love that it doesn't stain. Starts bringing the fever down within a half hour and keeps working for 7 hours. Also helps great with head aches.

Excellent product.. highly recommend
As a mom of three I have gone through many bottles of pain/fever relief including some European brands. I was highly impressed with the effectiveness of Motrin, both with the speed it worked and how long it lasted for. As the dosage amounts are less it works out more cost effective than other ibuprofen brands,

The best!!
This is the only flavour and manufacture that my son likes and will take without any fuss. Would love to see it come out in "singles" packs like Benadryl came out with a few years ago. Would make it really convenient for grand parents who want to spend time with the kids even when there are not 100%.

Fast Acting, and Tastes Good!
I have a very skinny 11 year old who cannot swallow pills no matter how hard she tries! This lets me give her the fever relief she needs, without a meltdown when she is sick. Its actually what the doctor recommended when she had strep throat! Love it, now we make sure its always stocked, just in case!

Gets my teether through the night
We always keep this in the house. With 3 little ones who are going through various colds, fevers and teething issues it is super to give them before bed if they are having a miserable time. Usually they wake up in the morning improved after a decent night's sleep. Works great!

Great for getting through the night!
With it being 8 hours I use it at night to get through teething and fevers. Most of the other products are 4 hours with this lasting longer it helps a lot to get through an 8 hour sleep and not having to worry about getting up to give another dose.

This is what I used to give my young children because they liked the taste so much better. When I tried to give Tylenol, they would close their mouths and refuse to take it. I am so thankful I had Children's Motrin for those bad fevers.

Younger brother takes this all the time when he is sick and has a fever. he says that his body aches, but this helped him and he was up and running around within half an hour of taking this, as if he was never sick!

No artificial colors!!!
Our children are aware this isn't a candy and shouldn't be tasty, but they love the taste and never argue when it comes to taking it!!
As always, Motrin does the job when it comes to relieving our kids symptoms.

Favorite option for my little guy
This is my absolute favorite option for my son. Its fast acting and effective. My son has been really sick a couple of times and after trying the other options this is definitely the best one. Also great value.
