Black Cohosh is a traditional herb for women with mild estrogen-like activity. It is especially helpful during menstruation and menopause. Cohosh is a Native American word meaning "rough", which is descriptive of the herb's rugged black root.
Directions: Adults: Take one or two capsules once or twice daily. May be used up to 6 months.
Warning: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist. Discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as weakness, unusual fatigue, yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes, dark urine and / or abdominal pain.

Black Cohosh tablets
These greatly help reduce the intensity and duration of the hot flashes and night sweats. Two pills one day, one the next seems to be the dose for me. I do wish they were a better price, closer to the Walmart/Rexall prices.
