I started using this product after using the cleaners by neutrogena, morning and at bedtime. It’s been a few days, and I’ve noticed such an improvement in my skin tone - my skin visibly looks calmer, hydrated, even, less red and blotchy. It’s fantastic and I will keep using this . I recommend it highly. I was skeptical at first as many products make claims that do not work. For this product, it works by the claims on the package. Loving it!!!!!’

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Product pills and gave me a deep, inflamed pimple My daily skincare is primarily neutrogena hydro boost cleanser + gel cream, with very few other products. I wanted to add this niacinimide and the stubborn blackheads serum to my routine to even out my skin. This niacinimide serum (which I applied before moisturizer onto clean, dry skin) pilled immediately even with no other product underneath. The niacinimide and stubborn blackheads serums were the only two things I added to my routine, and I developed a deep, inflamed pimple after two weeks of daily use, in a place I do not typically develop acne (lower left cheek). I was only applying the blackhead serum to my t-zone, so the culprit seems to have been this niacinimide serum, which I was applying all over my face. I suspect is is the dimethicone in this product causing both the pilling and the clogged pores (I also personally just find dimethicone really gross-feeling when I apply it) -- weirdly, the stubborn blackheads serum also has dimethicone and I did not get the same issue with the areas I applied that (might just be that some areas of my skin interact with the dimethicone differently than others). In summary, I really hope neutrogena can re-evaluate the use of dimethicone in this product because it created a huge blotch of hyperpigmentation on my face from the deep, inflamed pimple that it created :(
