I cannot live without this cough syrup. We have been using it for many, many years. Our preferred use for colds is to make a hot drink with this lemon and honey. At first we just used it for coughs with congestion but over the years have found it effective for other cold symptoms and sometimes even allergies.
As we no longer live in Canada, I need to stock up whenever we visit.

I keep coming back to re-order this syrup! It's got a very pleasant herbal taste (sweet from the honey base), and I find it really helps to relax my system, like previous reviews, it doesn't upset my [sensitive] stomach! It's gentle enough to not feel like I've just taken a chemical punch to the throat, and serious enough to kick the congestion and scratchy/sore throats that I get with season changes!

This product is meant for productive coughs and sore throats, and it really works. It's honey-based, so even with the herbal taste it's not as bad as Buckley's or any other "terrible-tasting" cough syrups. What I really like is that the honey helps settle upset stomachs, so it's great for a cold/flu type bug instead of having to take something else for the nausea.

This is without a doubt the best cough syrup available for almost any kind of cough. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's "completely natural". There's obviously some real medicine in those plants. Of course that probably means that you should be careful about combining it with other medicines. Without knowing the active ingredients of those plants you could inadvertently take too much of something.
