Rated 1 out of 5 by Margaret from Don't fix what isn't broke! When I first started using lip balm it was called Labello. It was later rebranded to Nivea which pretty much stayed the same so I continued with it. I recently ran out and purchased more but noticed it was labelled "new and improved". The new formula is sticky and feels thick and waxy feeling which actually makes my lips drier. Unfortunately, I won't be using your product any longer. It would certainly be to your advantage to bring back the old formula as it really was the best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Amanda from New formula is awful! I’ve been using nivea for years and loved in but the new formula is dry, tugs your lips and doesn’t help your lips at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from New formula doesn’t work Not sure why change something that already works. Been using Nivea essential chapstick for years(bit of a chapstick addict) Didn’t notice til after I bought it that it was labelled “new and improved”. I was confused as to why it didn’t work like it use to. Not sure if the “improve”was to save money but it’s definitely not for quality sake. Time to find a different chapstick which is unfortunately since before the “new and improved” change Nivea was the best.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Glenda D. from Nivea I hoard lip balm and for years I used LaBello. Then it was bought out by Nivea. I stayed with the brand and found it almost as good once it was renamed Nivea. For Christmas my husband always buys me a good supply. When I opened one of the packages two days ago I noticed a new look. The new hydro care has a distinct unpleasant scent and is thicker. Why must they always ruin a good thing? Giving away my 6 double packages. Disgusted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sandra from Formula has changed for the worse I have been a frequent user of this balm back when it was Labello. I am very disappointed that Nivea has changed the formula. The new formula is waxy and feels greasy and heavy on my lips--it provides no moisture and has to be applied frequently. I bought two packs and will just donate them and look for something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Leah from Very bad I do not like the new improved formula. I've been using Nivea essential 12 hr (the old formula) for years. It was absolutely amazing until recently they changed it to the 24 hr "new improved" and I am so disappointed. The new 24 hr is so thick it's like a glue stick. It does not slide smoothly on my lips at all. I am so upset. I will no be using Nivea anymore. Why would you change an amazing product to not improve it but make it worse. Lip care should be smooth and easy to slide on ur lips. Its way to thick i had to add vasiline just to get it to slide on my lips. Also it is so thick is starts to cake and harden . I don't know why Nivea would ruin the product like this . I also can provide pictures of how it hardens and clumps up. Its so thick I cant even rub my lips together. Please change it back to the old 12 hr formula. Lip care should slide on smooth. Please change this product. From a long time loyal customer that is very disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Island Girl from Hate New Formula I have used this product for many many years back when it was Labello. I stopped using it when I could no longer find any of the original formula, hate the waxy feel, smell is disgusting, had to throw it out. I feel very let down by Nivea. At least keep the original so people can have a choice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from New formula is horrible Please bring back the original formula. This new one burns my lips and makes them feel waxy. I’ve been using this product for as long as I can remember...back when it was Labello. I’ve had to adjust a few times already and this one finally worked. Please just give us the option to buy it.
