NOW Real Food Citric Acid Powder is a natural preservative that helps to inhibit the formation of mold and other bacterial growth, an all-too-common occurrence when sprouting in a jar due to high temperatures and humidity. If you’re into sprouting, then you’re already familiar with Citric Acid, a natural preservative typically found in citrus fruits such as lemons and limes. Citric Acid is also useful for canning vegetables and fruit preserves.

So many uses
Citric acid has so many uses, too many to comment on but search it out for yourself. I like being able to get it in larger bottles like this because I do use it for many things.

Many uses
I have reviewed this product before saying how great it is, but thought I would mention some things I use it for. Basics like cleaning the toilet and dishwasher, I throw a tablespoon in an empty cycle , just a rinse if you have, I use it to boost laundry cleaning, and adding to fresh cut fruits. My favourite way I’d a sprinkle mixed with apple cider vinegar powder from capsules and some salt for popcorn

Haven't used it yet. I'm optimistic
I've read that chef's use it a lot for counteracting sweetness in sauces without flavouring or thinning the sauce. I intend to use it to tarten overly sweet sauces I purchase or when I get it wrong when cooking. Fruit vinegars are nice but the good one's are expensive and of course thin the sauce.
