Rated 3 out of 5 by anahitam3 from Smells good! Worked great Smells good! Worked great at the beginning. I was getting the definition and volume of my curls. But after a few weeks of using, it started giving me more tangles and frizz for some reason. I had to move to a different brand, but when I moved back to OGX again it gave me good results. (For a few weeks only it backfired again afterwards) I both do and don't recommend this product. As we all may be aware of each curly hair has its own style of likings. Mine seemed to like it at first but get tired of it after a awhile, yours might be completely a different experience. Give a try and then decide wither or not this product is meant for your hair.

I usually struggle with build up and oiliness on my scalp, and with this shampoo I’m to get about 3 solid before needing to wash it again, which it pretty on par with the other shampoos I’ve tried. One thing that I have noticed, is that it doesn’t really lather well. Because of this, I find myself using more product. This shampoo also has a nice light scent that you aren’t able to detect on your hair after washing it. Ultimately, considering how cheap this shampoo is, it performs well and I would recommend it.

I need to start off by saying that although I am only giving this shampoo 3/5 stars, that is more to do with the fact that I think this formula wasn’t suitable for my hair type than that it is not a great product. My hair was left feeling VERY soft and VERY VERY shiny. However, I have fine, thinner hair and felt that as a result, my hair got greasy quicker than normal - and looked extremely flat right after it dried. I can imagine if someone had thicker hair that was on the frizzier side, this shampoo would be a great way to add some shine and moisture.

I had my doubts about using this product as I am not usually a fan of coconut scented products and I haven’t found an OGX Product that has made a major difference with my hair. However, upon using this product, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I am enjoying it. I like the scent much more than expected and this, along with using the conditioner, leaves my hair soft after use. I haven’t used this long enough to determine if it works well with color-treated hair or not, but I haven’t noticed any adverse effects to date. Also note that the scent is definitely strong if you are sensitive to smells in your products. Overall, would recommend.

The shampoo smells good, a mild coconut smell, but that's the only good part of this shampoo. I found it did not clean my hair well enough, I felt like I needed to wash my hair more often, and my scalp would still look oily by the end of the day. I thought the lack of sulfates was the problem, however after trying other sulfate free shampoos, it's not the lack of sulfates. Other sulfate free shampoos have been able to make my hair feel and look much better than ogx.

It smells like a tropical coconut paradise. I know J&J was facing a lawsuit due to DMDM, but I read through the ingredients list, and it seems it’s been removed from the products. I wasn’t a huge fan of this shampoo. I found it to really dry out my hair and it made my scalp itchy. There’s better shampoos out there. The scent is really the only thing I enjoyed but, I’m sure if you balance it out with a good conditioner, it should be ok.

The shampoo hydrates my hair which is exactly what I needed now that sunny weather is here and my hair can get dryer then usual. It also leaves my hair shiny and soft feeling I would recommend this product to others it works and is affordable for all price ranges. I think I will buy this product again I received these products for free from Influenster and OGX original in exchange for my honest review #OGXoriginals

I had used other hair product lines from ogx and had no issues so was surprised my skin flared up when I added this to my routine (this shampoo was the only change to my routine). If you have sensitive skin I recommend you stay away from this shampoo. My hair looked great though.
