Heavy tea tree scent
I was anticipating a woodsy, earthy scent as I love cedar and sage, but this shampoo, like the conditioner, smells more heavily of tea tree (which is one of the ingredients) than anything else and it completely overpowers the cedar and sage essential oils. If you're like me and absolutely hate the smell of tea tree, this is not the scent for you; however, it lathers well with a small amount, has a nice consistency, and deep cleans the scalp nicely. I won't buy this scent again due to the overwhelming tea tree oil smell - but would definitely try a different scent from the same company.

Not for me
I was so excited to try this shampoo out but I was quite disappointed with it. The scent is lovely and so woodsy, but the formula left my hair really dry and tangled (I have naturally thick, curly/wavy hair). I also felt like I had more buildup on my scalp and my hair just never felt clean. Won't be purchasing this again.

Read reviews and decided to give it a try. My experience was not very positive. This shampoo smells like pine sol to me. I agree with some others that posted they felt they had residue on their hair. My hair is usually nice and shiny but this shampoo must be too harsh for me because my hair had no shine and was as dull looking. It might works on certain types of hair because some gave positive reviews but it didn’t work on my fine thinning hair. I will be sticking with Phillip Adam’s ACV Orange Vanilla shampoo that works the best for me.

Perfect shampoo for sensitive scalps
I have a sensitive, itchy scalp and this shampoo has done wonders to keep my scalp healthy and flake free. I love the scent-a relaxing, woodsy scent. The ingredients are natural. This has been my go to shampoo for about six months now. I highly recommend!

Woodsy smell, leaves buildup
I love the fact it's a Canadian product with mainly "natural" ingredient, and you get a large amount in the bottle. I also like the smell, very woodsy like others have said (keep in mind one of the ingredients is tea tree oil and you can smell it in the mix, which not everyone's going to enjoy). However, this shampoo isn't strong enough for me and left a filmy buildup after several uses. Maybe because of the various oils it contains? Or the cleansing ingredients aren't strong enough for my oily scalp?

Gorgeous smell to connect with a love of hiking...
I have been using this shampoo (and the same scent of conditioner) for a few months now. At first I noticed that I could go a day or two longer without washing my hair, even though it didn't dry it out. After using it for awhile I started to get dandruff for the first time ever. I still use it because I love the smell and have no other complaints, but I have been alternating its use with a dandruff shampoo in order to keep my scalp happy.

love the smell, a bit harsh
I love the smell of this product. It cleaned my hair well, but can be harsh at times. I think for the summer its good, but not for the winter time.
I will say, I bought the lotion as I love the smell and it is worth it

Favourite Shampoo
I absolutely love this shampoo! It makes my hair feel super full and I really enjoy the smell. I've tried other natural shampoos, but I always come back to this one.
