Option+ Docosanol Cream Cold Sore Treatment

Docosanol Cream 10% (w/w). Clinically proven to speed healing. For Topical Use.

Shortens healing time and duration of cold sore symptoms including pain, burning, itching and tingling. Treats cold sores on the face or lips. Docosanol helps block entry of the cold sore virus into surrounding cells, thereby helping to treat cold sores.

Directions: Adults and children 12 years and older: wash hands before and after applying cream, apply to the affected area on face or lips at the first sign of symptoms, rub in gently but completely, repeat this 5 times per day until fully healed, up to a maximum of 10 days, do not use more than directed

Warning: For external use only Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if are pregnant or breastfeeding. When using this product , do not use in or near the eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water, apply only to affected areas on the lips and face, avoid applying directly inside your mouth, do not share this product with anyone, this may spread infection. Stop use and consult a health care professional if symptoms get worse or last more than 10 days, if excessive skin irritation develops or increases. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away.
