New Version: GARBAGE!
I'd been using Glide Deep Clean Floss for years as it was the best floss on the market, far superior to others. However, recently it was changed. Now it is one of the WORST. It is WORSE than the CHEAPEST floss I have ever used! It stretches and does not reach deep at all. It also gets caught on my crown and it feels like it may yank it loose. I HATE this new version. I would much rather pay a little more for the quality, superior product it was before. The price for this new version is WAY TOO HIGH for what you get. It is JUNK. Fire the people who made the decision to destroy this product. I will never buy it again!

Worth it!!
The texture is different than the floss I'm used to, but once I got used to the slippery texture and got a good grip on it, I fell in love. I floss hard, and feel like I cannot get enough tension and pressure with most floss. I was reefing on this stuff and it didn't even stretch. Also had no problem getting the amount of pressure I prefer. I did see a few negative reviews mentioning a ridiculous amount of breakage that makes me wonder if maybe a bad batch got out somehow. I highly recommend this type of floss. And if you do experience weakness call the number on the package, you might get a refund or free coupons - given the strength of my roll, that much break cannot be normal.

Floss is now plastic sandpaper
Unfortunately, this floss has changed from a normal ribbon-like floss material that used to work like a charm to something that looks and feels like plastic sandpaper. It's virtually impossible to get between tightly spaced teeth (I thought I was going to pull my teeth out trying to yank the floss out). It feels like my enamel is getting rubbed off by this floss. It's really rough.
Don't waste your money on this floss unless you have wide spaces between your teeth.

New and not Improved
Unfortunately, the "new, improved" is far from being better. I have used this particular kind of Glide dental floss for years and loved it until this version. It is more rigid and very plasticky and doesn't glide as well. Not a pleasure to have in your mouth.
You will notice that the previous rave reviews refer to the older formulation.

Too fragile
I like how it slides easily between your teeth and the fresh minty taste, but it breaks too easily. I end up using way more than usual to floss with and it costs more than regular floss. Will not purchase again.

New version of product a real step down in quality
The new version of this floss is unusable. I have used this brand for many years and thought it was the best. The new "plasticy" stuff is very difficult to use. It is difficult to grip, snaps in and out of the tooth gaps and cuts my gums. Unfortunately I just bought two 3-packs and after opening the first packages and discovering the change, trashed all of the new packs. Now looking for a better product. I definitely don't recommend the new version of this floss.

Best floss you can buy
Been using this floss for about a year after my dentist gave me a trial pack. I like the fact that its soft, it glides between the teeth easily, it picks up alot of plaque, its wide so it helps with the sweeping plaque action, and its mint so your teeth feel extra clean. After all its the trapped bacteria that causes the smell. Leaving the mint O believe improves my breath. Amazing product. Slightly expensive.

Used to be great, but the new version is awful
This floss used to be the best and I used it for years. The packaging changed recently and the new version (the package with "Oral B" in big letters and "Glide" in small letters) is AWFUL. The floss has completely changed...it's sharp on the edges and smooth like fishing line, not the comfortable but gripping deep clean it used to be. Feels terrible, doesn't deep clean. Really disappointed.
