1 star for me - maybe 5 star for you if you like glitter
I know that this product says “illuminating”, but I didn’t realize that meant “glitter”. I went to put this product on for the first time before taking some engagement photos and I actually had to wash my face (multiple times to fully get all of the sparkles off) and start over. This product has so much glitter in it. If you like that look, I think this is an excellent product for you. I, on the other hand, felt like it made me look like a young child getting ready for their princess themed birthday party. Big no from me, I’m sad that I’m going to completely waste this product because for me personally, it is not useable due to the glitter.

Pleasantly surprised
I was hesitant to try this product as the “self-adjusting tint” technology in other brands has never worked for me. I have fair skin with cool-neutral tones and those products typically turn orange on me. My usual bb cream is constantly out of stock so I thought I would try this instead. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. It is sheer coverage which is important to note, but it truly does a great job of blurring my imperfections. I have combo skin so I only use this product as my moisturizer and it truly reduces the look of my pores and evens out my skin tone. And blends well too. Applying in circular motions is key to the success of the product. Hydrates without being greasy. Pleasant light natural scent. Great alone or as a base for heavier makeup days. For reference is used the Light 11 shade and I have fair/light cool-neutral skin.
