Pascoe Pascoflair is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a sleep
aid (in cases of restlessness or insomnia due to mental stress).
Features:
Ingredients: Dry extract (5-7:1) of Passiflora incarnata L. 425 mg (passionflower), equivalent to 2.125g – 2.975g aerial parts.
Extractant: ethanol 50% (V/V)
Caution: Contraindicated for patients who are hypersensitive to the active substance or to any of the excipients, patients with a rare hereditary condition known as fructose intolerance, glucosegalactose malabsorption or sucrase-isomaltase defi ciency. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Consult a health care practitioner if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 3 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consumption with alcohol, other medications or natural health products with sedative properties is not recommended.
Side Effects: Hypersensitivity has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness.

I took prescription sleeping pills for years, and although this is not quite as effective it has been a decent alternative. I recommend trying it. I usually take one pill, but if I wake in the night and can't go back to sleep I take another.
