Pediatric Electrolyte has the balanced electrolytes, carbohydrates and
water kids need to stay hydrated – without all the sugar found in
juices, sports drinks and sodas.

- A balanced formula to restore essential fluids, electrolytes and minerals lost through diarrhea, vomiting or heavy sweating, which can be caused by fever, hot or dry environment, vigorous or prolonged exercise.
- Helps prevent dehydration more effectively than sports drinks, juice, soft drinks or water.
Directions: Children
should be given small, frequent and slowly administered amounts of
Pediatric Electrolyte. Dosage depends on body weight. Children under 2
years old: Use only on the advice of a physician. Children 2 to 11 years
old: At the first sign of diarrhea, vomiting and/0r heavy sweating,
give 50–100 mL per kg (2.2 lbs) of body weight over the first 3 to 4
hours. While diarrhea, vomiting and/or heavy sweating continues, give
120 mL for every additional diarrhea or vomiting episode. Maximum 1 L
per hour. Adolescents 12 years and over: At the first sign of diarrhea,
vomiting and/or heavy sweating, give 50–100 mL per kg (2.2 lbs) of body
weight over the first 4 to 6 hours. While diarrhea, vomiting and/or
heavy sweating continues, give 200 mL for every additional diarrhea,
vomiting or heavy sweating episode. Maximum 1 L per hour. Ready to use,
do not dilute. Best when served cold. Refrigerate after opening and use
within 48 hours. Do not re-use container.

Caution:
Consult a physician if: There is fever, or if vomiting, diarrhea and/or
heavy sweating worsens or continues beyond 24 hours; Your child has
medical problems relating to kidney, heart or gastrointestinal
functions, diabetes, blood pressure or shows signs of severe dehydration
including symptoms of shock, is unable to drink, has increased thirst,
decreased urination, sunken eyes, swelling of the feet or lower legs
and/or bloody or mucus-like stools.
