I used to have horrid ear pain whenever I would fly and after the excruciating decent it would take days before my ears would decompress and no pain. I tried both the adult and child size and found the child size to be a better fit for my ears. They work wonderfully and always wear them when I fly and no longer dread the flight.

Bought these for my 3 year old and they seemed to work. I put them before take off and when we were about to descend. She said she didn't have any ear pain, which was a huge relief. The only issue I had was that I didn't know how far in I could insert them that was far enough and they did tend to fall out at the slightest touch. But I would buy them again.

My eldest son used to be in severe discomfort (on approach and landing) every time we flew. And if he already had even a very slight cold, he'd be in absolute agony! When we tried these for the first time he felt no pain at all - it was such a contrast. I highly recommend them. He's used them every time we've flown since (for maybe 5 or 6 years...roughly a dozen flights?) and he's always been fine, but the one time that he was too engrossed in listening to his inflight movie through the headphones and didn't put them in before the plane started to descend, they were definitely not as effective. It seems to be important to get them put in well in advance. He wears the adult ones now, but the design is exactly the same.

I know how excruciating ear pain from flying can be so the last thing I wanted was for my 5 and 7 year old kids to experience this. I bought 2 pairs of children size ear planes and my son ended up not wanting to wear his. He did not have a problem so I decided to try them out and they seemed to work for me. I will never go without them again.

My daughter (1.5 years) wouldn't even let me put the ear plugs in. My son (3.5 years) put the plugs in until the last 30 minutes of the flight. He said his ears hurt and wanted to take the ear plugs out. After we took them out, he was better and calmed down. We all had head colds, yet everyone felt better without the ear plugs in. That's our story, but you may want to try them for yourself.

Bought these for a 18month old, she didn't keep them in long enough to see if they worked well. I can say now after using the adult ones, you need a really snug fit and I am not sure you would know if it was in far enough with a child. The adult version works great so I would think if you get the fit right it should work.

I got these for my two year old on our trip to Mexico and they were fantastic. She didn't have any ear pain when she had them in. On one flight we dropped one while we were putting them in and couldn't find it until after we landed. She cried and screamed and pulled at her ears the whole flight. I'm sold on them. (buy two pairs in case you drop one!)
