Phillip Adam Sculpting Clay

    Description & Features

Phillip Adam Sculpting Clay molds hair into place, has a strong hold and matte finish. Created using natural ingredients such as Bentonite Clay, Natural Beeswax and Coconut extract. Perfect for achieving a modern pompadour hairstyle, easy daily control of all types of short hair or defining locks in curly hair.

  • Strong hold and matte finish
  • Paraben free
  • Adds body and thickness
Directions:  Scrape the sculpting clay out with your fingers, and take it into the hands, warm it up and dissolve the clay.

Next, work the sculpting clay into the hair. Wipe it all forward and backward, so you cover all the sections. Now you have excellent coverage from front to back and you can style the hair with fingers or comb to your satisfaction.

Tip: It is easier to spread the sculpting clay throughout the hair if it is a bit damp. With dry hair you may need more product, but you may get a firmer hold, if desired.

Ingredients:  Natural Bentonite lead free clay, Cocos Nucifera, Natural beeswax, Tocopherol(Vitamin E), Ethylhexglycerine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product I would give this product 10 stars if I could. I have probably purchased every natural matte clay hair product available from Amazon USA. Most often having to ship to a US address and bring it home from a trip since Amazon Canada has a very limited selection. Very few, with the odd exception, work anywhere near as well as the petroleum/chemical based mainstream products. Remember, anything you put on your skin is easily absorbed. By random chance I found this product on Well. I use Phillip Adam shampoo and hand soap, so I am familiar with this company but never knew they had a clay hair product. Odds are you wont see this in any barber shop or nutritional/health food store which carry their shampoos. I decided to try it since it has very few ingredients, and most important two key ingredients: clay and beeswax. I was skeptical, but can easily say it works as well as the mainstream toxic petrochemical based matte/clay hair products. For comparison, I use Bed Head by TIGI, and this has extremely comparable performance. There is no fragrance. When using, make sure to rub your hands together to warm up the product, and this also emulsifies the small bits of clay. Also, do not use too much. Dime size is plenty for short/medium length hair. It easily washes out. Phillip Adam has a winner here but why is it not advertised, or found in high end hair salons or other retailers which carry their brand?
