Ralston Family Farms Purple Rice

Loaded with antioxidants and uniquely rich flavour, this specialty rice has a floral aroma and cooks to a deep purple colour.

Tip: Rinse rice with water before cooking for a light and fluffy texture. 

Directions: 

• Stovetop: Combine 1 cup rice and 2 cups water. Bring to a boil. Stir, cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook on low for 45 minutes. Remove from heat and let steam for 10 minutes. Fluff and enjoy. 
• Rice cooker: Combine 1 cup rice and 1 cups water. Select the whole-grain function. When cooking is complete, let steam for 5 minutes. Fluff and enjoy. 
• Instant Pot: Combine 1 cup rice and 1 cups water or stock. Cook on high pressure for 18 minutes. Allow a natural release for 10 minutes, then quick release. Fluff and enjoy.
