Hands down THE best salt in the world. Himalayan and sea salt don't compare. If you want to know what salt should really taste like, what it tastes like in the ancient days of Egypt, you MUST switch to this salt. I did, after hearing about the book "salt your way to health" which explains the true cause of the high BP/cholesterol epidemic. It's the plastic in the processed table salt and sugar that scratches the walls of your arteries and cholesterol is the body's "poly filler" made by your liver. This salt is all natural, it will dissolve 100%. Thus, never scratch your organs, it will also stimulate your kidneys, and hydrate you at a cellular level too. This salt is your friend, not your enemy. But it has no iodine so make sure you take Kelp powder. I put some in my water. It tastes like aquarium water, but you get used to it. Or buy Global Healing Center's colloidal iodine drops.

The flavour is nice, the coulour too. But I absolutely can't stand the sand between my teeth. I resorted to only use it to boil pasta, but even then my noodles would crunch. So it ended in the trash can. Never again.
Although I'm surprised that no-one else here seemed to have the same experience. Maybe the batches differ...!?
I checked their website and they pride themselves with adding silica "sand" as trace mineral. Quote: “Wait, did you say silica? [...] Yes! Isn’t that wonderful?†Sounds like mockery to me.

I have been buying this salt for years, and was quite happy with it, but recently I noticed this salt getting really sandy. Every time, I use it on food, I feel like I am eating sand so unfortunately I am going to have to find an alternative.

Redmond Salt is delicious. This salt is packed with minerals. Enhances the flavour of foods. A freshly picked garden tomato with a dusting of Redmond Salt is a small piece of heaven. No other salt compares. It is too bad Well.ca does not carry the rock salt for salt grinders.

Cannot tolerate the grittiness of this salt. Apparently there is silica in this salt which does not dissolve, in anything. Wish I would have known this. Can't and won't use this salt in my cooking. It's like eating something with sand in it. Use it in your bath or as a scrub. Not in your food, is my opinion.

A wonderful, natural, and delicious salt, without the sharpness and saltiness of the usual table salt!
I discovered Redmond Real Salt a few years ago when my usual sea salt became unavailable, and I have loved it from the first try. The bag lasts me about a year and I love the taste - so much tastier than table salt, and it's natural.

Excellent Salt not only healthy but very flavourful!
I love this salt have been using it for years. Arguably from various sources the healthiest salt in the world above Celtic and Himalayan. Food as medicine here due to all the trace minerals in it.
