Rexall Cough & Cold Relief Extra Strength

Rexall Cough & Cold Relief Extra Strength relieves cough, stuffy nose and chest congestion. Up to 6 hours of relief.

Directions: Adults and Children (12 years and older): 1 to 2 tsp. (5 mL to 10 mL) every 6 hours. Maximum 8 tsp. (40 mL) per day. Do not take more than 40ml in 24 hours.

Active Ingredient (per 10ml): Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 30 mg.

Inactive Ingredients: citric acid, D&C red #33, FD&C red #40, flavour, glycerin, menthol, polyethylene glycol 600, purified water, sodium benzoate, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate, sodium cyclamate, sorbitol solution

Warnings: DO NOT USE IN CHILDREN UNDER 12 YEARS. with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or ParkinsonՒs disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug with other drugs containing dextromethorphan if you are allergic to dextromethorphan or any other ingredient in this product with any other cough and cold medications since harm may occur, unless recommended by a doctor or pharmacist. Longer than 7 days.  Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have high blood pressure heart or thyroid disease, glaucoma diabetes, difficulty urinating due to enlarged prostate gland persistent cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma or emphysema, cough with excessive phlegm (mucus) difficulty breathing, asthma or other chronic lung conditions. These could be signs of a serious condition.  Any other serious medical condition are pregnant or breast-feeding are taking medication for weight control.  Stop use and ask a doctor if symptoms worsen, last for more than 1 week or are accompanied by a high fever (>38հC), persistent headache, rash or the production of thick yellow/green phlegm you develop allergic reactions such as wheezing, rash or itching you have difficulty or pain when urinating any new symptoms appear nervousness, dizziness or sleeplessness occur.  Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor immediately, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms. Other information Keep bottle tightly closed. Do not use if seal over bottle opening is missing or broken. Store between 15C and 30C. Read the complete label and carton prior to use and follow all instructions.
