We use this for eating out and I like that it rolls up nicely and can be tucked inside the food catcher section but when it's unrolled the mat is kind of warped and bumpy. I also have trouble getting the suction parts to stick to wood surfaces and imagine it to be a bit useless over a table cloth. It's sometimes a good protection and distraction for my 8 month old who likes to chew on the ends of tables but I think she'll soon figure out how to throw the whole thing on the ground.

I bought this placemat 4 years ago and am currently using it with our second child. I find that wiping the table with a damp cloth before putting the placemat down helps it to stick. We have a high chair without a tray, so I like having the food catcher. I also really like having this when we eat out. Yes, my 13 month old can pull it off the table if I'm not watching her, but she is still at the point where she tosses all dishes on the floor, so this is a better alternative.

I had high hopes for this but unfortunately it just misses the mark on some points. It does not stick to all surfaces and I find that it just needs to be bigger for the average toddler (as they have amazing food throwing capacities). It is easy to clean though. For this price point I expected a bit better.

This a great product, I keep it in the diaper bag for meals when we're out and about (and I don't trust restaurants to have cleaned the table properly, haha!). Easy to use, easy to clean, and sticks to the table well. I like that it rolls up pretty small so it doesn't take up much room in my diaper bag too. Great for little munchers!
