Description

An exceptionally-stable solution of 15% Ethlyated Ascorbic Acid, this water-free formula offers a direct-acting approach to help achieve the appearance of a brightened skin tone. Unlike other Vitamin C derivatives, this ethlyated form acts directly like Vitamin C, is closer to molecular weight to actual Vitamin C, and offers a much better stability profile than any known direct-acting form of Vitamin C. 

Directions: Apply a few drops to face AM and PM.

Contradictions: This formula contains Direct/Ethylated Vitamin C. For best results, please avoid using the following ingredients in the same regimen:
  • Copper Peptides
  • Peptides
  • EUK 134
  • Niacinamide

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Ordinary Ethylated Ascorbic Acid 15% Solution Is THE vitamin C serum I recommend to everyone! Unlike other vitamin C serums I've tried, it does not sting the least bit, not even on my sensitive areas like my neck. It is very potent, but does not oxidize. It says something that Ethylated Ascorbic Acid is the type of vitamin C the more expensive Deciem lines Niod and Hylamide use. Add a drop of TO Resveratrol-Ferulic acid and you have a much less expensive version of the SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I am a big fun of Ordinary products but this one... Even though it says oil-fee, it doesn't feel like this at all. Feels like a pure oil in fact; very comedogenic (if you have this problem). Applied very little on clean skin and even tried to massage it into my face after a few minutes, but seems like my skin didn't want to absorb any of the product. Had to splash my face with cold water a few times and dab it with cotton towel. Only then my skin felt good and smooth. Maybe you'll have a different experience.

I do feel like it is making a difference for my skin but want to give it another couple of weeks. I would definitely recommend this as a gentle Vitamin C option though.

I've noticed a difference on my face especially my sunspot. I apply the Ordinary SPF sunscreen on top of this solution for added protection especially in the summer months.
