Save your fishwasher
The pump in our 5 year old dishwasher died and it costs too much to repair it. Ugh! The repair person said that the dishwasher pods with the ‘plastic’ coating are to blame. It doesn’t dissolve all the way and gets built up after time and kills the pump. It’s also WAY too much soap. I switched to powder (1tsp.) then found these and they’re perfect! They clean well and I love the mild lemon smell. Highly recommended.

Needs improvement
It leaves a cloudy film on everything after using consistently for a couple of weeks. Going back and forth with other detergents removes and reduces it. But because of the film I won't be switching over.

Disappointed. Did not clean well at all. Find we need to use 2 tabs even for rinsed dishes.

Not quite ready to replace current dishwasher tabs
I love Tru Earth's other products and was hopeful with the dishwashing tabs - unfortunately, leaves the glassware cloudy (even after cleaning the dishwasher and adding vinegar to the rinse cycle). Also, leaves dishes with residue event after rinsing dishes. Perhaps future development will improve this product and I will try again.

I find that my dishes have a "coating" like substance - can feel the detergent hasn't completely been rinsed away. Also I have to make sure all my dishes are scrubbed as this detergent doesn't completely remove debris. Sometimes I have food residue and tea stains still on my dishes.

Get the dishes clean and great value.
I have been searching for a replacement to the powder I have been using. I love these tabs and they smell fresh. I did find that when I had a really baked on mess I need to use 2 tabs. However, they still work and better than the powder I was using. Top it off they are a great price.

Great eco-friendly product
I have been using Tru Earth dishwasher tabs for about 4 years now and I totally endorse the product. I do lightly rinse my dishes before putting them.in the dishwasher as I only run it about wiice a week. I have never been disappointed.

Not sure
Wanted to love this but its meh. First try went well. Second time i had to re wash a lot of dishes. Not even really dirty dishes, as we rinse before loading, so rather disappointing.
