So wonderful in theory, didn’t dissolve
I was so excited about this product. In theory, the strips are great - when they actually dissolved. Only a handful of times did the strips dissolve in the wash, no matter if I threw them in the drum directly or in the dispenser. It got all gummed up in both. If this product dissolved in the wash, it would be great. But it doesn’t.
Very disappointing because it would be so great to use this. I am returning the two packages I bought.

Rural
I bought sheets a few months ago and started using them immediately.I noticed on regular cycle which is 28 minutes long, the sheets didn’t dissolve and sometimes got caught in gasket of my front load washer. Since that we have noticed our pump has been very noisy. My husband took it apart and found gummy substance all through it. We discontinued using sheets , we are on a well system in a rural area.

Works Great with Little Waste
I've been using these for a few weeks now, and they're fantastic. I was skeptical at first that a little strip of detergent would do much, but surprise, they work as well as liquid detergent. I tear the strip up into bits before placing into the reservoir to make sure it completely dissolves as well. So far, no issues. I also love that the only waste at the end is a cardboard sleeve that can go into the recycling bin.

Family Favourite!
Bought this for my mother for a Christmas gift, it's our new go-to! Works fantastic in cold water, gets clothing clean, smells amazing (but not overpowering like most commerical detergents), it's everything we could have asked for!

Not good - didn't all dissolve in cold water.
I fell for the hype and bought Tru Earth- very disappointed! I used it in cold water for lingerie twice and both times an article came out fused in a bunch with a sheet. I wash with cold water, which the information said was usable. I will not be purchasing this product again.

Very satisfied with this product
I have front loading HE washer and do about 6-7 loads of laundry a week. I've been using 1/2 a Tru-earth strip and tearing it in several pieces before putting in the detergent slot. Great results! The strips dissolve well. Clean laundry and less plastic. Prior to using this product I was refilling a large 4 litre container at a local eco-friendly store. Pleased to be using less plastic.

Front load washer - worked well!
We used this in our HE Front Load washer and put the strip into the regular dispensing area. Everything dissolved and smelled great!
I really like that it's a Canadian product, and that it reduces the plastic waste. It's also easy to store, as it doesn't take up much space, it will also reduce those pesky blue stains from the liquid stuff when it drips on the washer, or behind it.

Game changer
Washes well. And zero garbage. Smells nice but I find the smell of the whole package overwhelming.

Nice surprise!
I purchased these Eco-Strips for the first time and was pleased with how well they work in my front loading washer. As per directions I simply tore the small sheet into about 4 pieces. Wouldn’t these be fantastic for pregnant moms or post surgery people who shouldn’t be lifting heavy objects like a giant jug of regular detergent!

Would like to see increase in scent strength
I find the resulting clean laundry acceptable. No plastic waste and Canadian made is the reason I tried this product. Thank you for your ingenuity. However, I would like to see a laundry solution with a stronger scent. I don't buy additional scent beads as it's an unnecessary product using a plastic container. Thus, I rely on drier sheets but even that is too mild. I like the scent strength of a 'Tide' + Drier Sheet combination. I hope this is a take-away you can work with.

Works well
I'm very pleased with this product. We don't recycle in our small Northern Ontario community, so I feel so much better about purchasing TruEarth, and not creating more garbage than necessary. It smells very strong when opening the package, but not after washing - then the clothes have a light scent.

Very happy with the product.
It's really easy to use and cleans well and smells pleasant.
Just a note that the package and strips before use smell very strong and bit chemically but once used it has a regular level of scent and clothes come out smelling clean and fresh.

No mess no fuss , less waste
I’ve been using this detergent for more than 18 months since my friend gave me a box as a gift so I just recently had to purchase my own!
I love the convenience of the strips, no mess, no fuss. They are used mainly in cold water washes as that is what I use and they’re gentle enough for newborn grandchild clothes as well. Of course the fact that the impact on the environment is less than other methods is big factor in my choice to use Tru Earth.

Love the smell and works great
Works really well just as they advertise. The only thing that I had to get used to was putting the sheet under at least one piece of clothing. Otherwise, it would get stuck to the barrel of the washer before it completely disintegrated.

Not for me!
I bought this a few months ago and I wash everything in cold water. These do not dissolve in cold water. They’re either stuck to my clothes when they come out of he washer or stuck to he sides of the washing machine. Very disappointed!

Tru Earth laundry Sheets
We have been using this amazing product for 5 years. So pleased with the product and my subscriptions! I live in a condo where space is always a concern.Obviosly a year supply fits easily in a drawer in my laundry room
Bonus the reduction of those big plastic jugs for our environment. Also love the baby strips for washing grandbaby cloths and quilts. The product does its job as well!? Love supporting Canadian companies!!

Does the job as well as the big brands
Switched to TRuEarth strips a month ago and am very happy Except that the size of the strip can be confusing. There is no definition of the strip size on the packaging so one is left wondering. Am I using too much or too little? There are full sheets with a perforated line through each sheet and the question is does a sheet contain two strips? or is a full sheet a strip? Please put a better description on the packaging.

Will be ordering again
I got the fresh linen scent, quite enjoyed it. I have a top load HE washer and I had no problems with the strips dissolving. Just ripped them up and put them into the washer directly. Love love the fact there is only cardboard packaging. Will be ordering this regularly. Bonus is that it takes up no room in the cupboard compared to the bulky liquid laundry detergent

Ok - great for travel
I love two things about this product:
1 - it’s great for travel
2 - takes up little space in the laundry room
The linen scented one smells great going into the washer, but clothes always have funky smell coming out. I regularly clean my washer with vinegar and baking soda, and the drum never smells. Not sure why these sheets don’t leave even a faint fresh scent behind on the clothes. If they smelt like nothing coming out that would that would be great, but several times I’ve had to re wash items because of a bad smell.

Works perfectly
I've tried the strips a few times, in both cold and hot water, and they dissolve completely in both temperatures. I have an HE washing machine but rip up the strip and put it directly in the drum. The scent is subtle, clothes come out clean and fresh, no residue. Great product, will purchase again!

Love the minimal pacakqging.
The strip seems to clean the clothes well and I absolutely love the minimal packaging. As for the strip not dissolving, I think you need to ensure that it is not against the front or sides of the machine at the start of the wash. Tearing them into pieces sounds like a good idea.

Works great!
I've been using this for three weeks now, and I'm surprised by how well it works, even my dog's towels are clean (and these are usually very muddy). The smell is very mild, so if you are looking for scented laundry soap this is not your choice, but in terms of cleaning I strongly recommend it (I use it with warm water). It is very gentle on the skin. We have sensitive skin and we are loving it. I wish there was a similar product for preparing dish-soap! I will not go back to using other laundry detergents.

Works great, smells great!
I've been using ECOnuts and dryer balls and missing the fresh laundry smell. These work great and leave a little scent behind (not sure of the ingredients so if you are scent sensitive I would look into it!).
Happy they are Canadian and use little/recyclable packaging!

Leaves globs of residue on clothes.
I really wanted to love this product as it is so easy and takes up so little space, but the strips don't always dissolve properly and stick to clothing. At first I thought it was all my fault as we were tossing in after the clothes - but I read the instructions and changed that - tossing them in first and making sure that the washing machine was not over filled. It didn't make a difference. So, you get a glue like substance on clothing and have to soak/rewash. I won't be buying more unfortunately.

Prepare yourself for endless spam
The product is good but I have repeatedly asked to be taken off of their email list and yet the emails keep coming. Don’t buy this product unless you are comfortable getting an endless number of emails afterwards.

Space Saving, Good results hot or cold water.
I get a one year supply of laundry soap that takes up less room that a paperback book. Great results from the soap and an not overpowering scent. Been happily using this product for quite a few years now.

Coating?
I had purchased these before from a grocer and liked them. Decided to buy them straight from the company this time and these seem to have a plastic coating on them that the others didn’t… strange
