Ulone Antitussive Syrup

Orange flavoured Antitussive Syrop. (Clofedanol hydrochloride) Child resistant cap    Only product in Canada with the active ingredient: Clofedanol hydrochloride; a non-narcotic antitussive that supresses the cough reflex by a direct effect on the cough centre in the medulla of the brain.

Unique product benefits: Can be used by children 2 years + & Adults. Other antitussive APIs, Dextromethorphan and codeine, are not recommended for children < 12 years and may be abused. Non Drowsy   

Dosage: Children 2-6 years One-half teaspooful 3 or 4 times daily as required. Children 6-12 years: One-half to one teaspoonful 3 or 4 times daily as required. Adults: One teaspoonful 3 or 4 times daily as required. Recommended use for symptmatic releif of cough. Please read and follow the label.       

Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in children under 2 years of age. Ask your doctor/pharmacyst before taking if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or taking other medications or if you have: a persistent cough (such as occur with smoking), asthma, emphysema; cough with excessive phlegm/mucus; difficulty breathing or other chronic lung conditions. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptons worsen or last for more than 7 days; a fever, rash or persistent headhache develops. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or doctor right away. Do not use if outer safety seal is missing or damaged.
