(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It's summer which means sun protection is a must and I was excited to receive this product free from Chick Advisor to review. I always like to use a separate sunscreen for my face than for my body because face-specific formulations are usually better to wear under makeup and (hopefully) won't cause breakouts. This Vichy one is a great option, especially if you have oily skin. The anti-shine effect means a more matte look which is good as a base, although it doesn't keep me completely shine-free (still had to blot a bit during the day). No white cast and the formula blends in quick and easy!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This box includes a full size tube of Vichy IDÉAL SOLEIL ANTI-SHINE SPF 60 Lotion, with UVA+UVB Broad spectrum protection. It is water and sweat resistant, and has an anti-shine mattifying effect.
Vichy is one of my favourite skin care brands, there is very little they make that I don't like. The Idéal Soleil SPF 60 is no exception! It absorbs nicely, it isn't greasy and wears well under make-up. It's a win-win product. It has no scent other than how most SPF lotions smell.

I have a combination skin with an oily T-zone. I've tried a few of sunscreens, however they make me look greasy or give me white cast.
The Vichy one is the great solution. No greasy, no white cast. I get a matt finish and look so natural after use.
There's only a problem is my eyes burnt when I applied the sunscreen last weekend. May be that day I was moving around and sweating, so the sunscreen get into my eyes.
I still high recommend this product. It won't disappoint you.

Don't bother buying this product
It's so chalky and immediately pills up. Don't waste your money on this. I tested it in store with a small amount on the back of my hand and it seemed fine but once I got the product and put an appropriate amount on my face it was just a disaster. It immediately pilled up and wouldn't blend in. It also left chalky marks all in my eyebrows and hairline. I choose to buy chemical sunscreens specifically because I want to be able to use enough to properly protect my skin without white cast or chalkiness. This product is honestly worse than a lot of zinc sunscreens I've tried. Save your money and get something else.

My skin is fine in the winter, but come summer, it gets really oily from the heat. Where I live it gets hot, really hot.
What I love about Vichy Idéal Soleil is how high the SPF is, always want the best protection for your face to fight aging and sun damage.
It’s very light and rubs right in, leaving behind zero white residue. After applying, it feels like I haven’t put anything on my face it’s so light! The bonus is that it gives my face a matte finish without the need for makeup. Even on cloudy days I pick this over my regular moisturizer because it’s thst much better.
Definitely recommend!

Recently, it has been so sunny and hot in Montreal. I have tried it a couple times and I love it! I have oily skin and it does not leave any oily residue feeling. I also like that it is long lasting (up to 80 mins!) and I like the light scent that is not overpowering. I have tried a few other types of sunscreen and nothing compares to this! I definitely recommend this product to those who have oily type skin like myself and who is looking for a long lasting sunscreen that is resistant to water and sweat. #gift

Ok but pills very badly
I wanted to love this product I tested it 3 times on my hands and arm before buying. This product sits well under makeup once you get past the pilling when putting it on and the white cast. If you rub it in it pills and if you are gently applying it gives a terrible white cast. After cleaning it up with a dry microfiber cloth I'm not sure if I still have enough on so I apply more and go through this again and then wait 15 minutes and apply makeup. After this it's a fantastic product as far as the whole day wear but it's a lot of extra time work and aggravation in the morning

This was my first time trying the anti shine dry touch sunscreen SPF 60 and I was very impressed. I currently use a dry touch sunscreen on my face, but this Vichy one goes on even smoother and instantly absorbs into my skin. I can apply my make right away and my face is not oily at all. I would definitely recommend this even with the higher price point than your regular sunscreen, it's worth it for your skin!
