Vicks DayQuil Kids Honey

Vicks DayQuil Kids Honey Cough Medicine provides effective cough relief, made without Alcohol, Acetaminophen, High Fructose Corn Syrup. Non-drowsy. To ensure this product is right for your child, always read and follow the label. Keep out of reach of children.

Do not use: with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (drugs for depression or Parkinsons disease) or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product; for longer than 7 days; if the child is allergic to any of the ingredients; with any other cough and cold medications since serious harm may occur. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if the child: has asthma or other chronic lung conditions; is pregnant or breastfeeding; is taking other medications, including natural health products, prescription drugs or non-prescription drugs. When using this product: side effects may include: allergic reaction, breathing difficulties, convulsions, drowsiness, hallucinations, and rapid heart rate; read the complete label prior to use and follow all label instructions; do not exceed recommended daily dose; overdose may result in serious harm.

Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms last for more than 7 days, worsen or the child gets fever; symptoms are accompanied by the production of thick yellow/green phlegm; allergic reactions such as wheezing, rash or itching develop. These could be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Centre right away, even if you do not notice any signs or symptoms.

Take only as directed. Only use the dose cup provided. Do not exceed 4 doses per 24 hours. Adults and children 12 yrs and over: Choose a DayQuil Adult Formula. Children 6 to under 12 years: 15 mL every 4 hours. Children under 6 years: do not use.
