Such a disappointment
I'm not sure where this item is currently being sourced from, but it's fraudulent. I purchase this type of vanilla every time passing through Mexico, and what I received in my order a couple months back was completely fake... the real stuff comes in a clear glass bottle (not dark brown glass) and is a rich dark brown colour liquid, but mud-puddle brown - with sediment floating throughout.
The flavour is incredibly weak and heavy on the alcohol; not something I would ever use to bake. Such a disappointment.

Terrible Vanilla
What a waste of money. This is the worst vanilla I’ve ever had. It smells like rubbing alcohol and there’s barely any flavour. Super disappointed. Do not buy!

Received as gift and it’s terrible. Brutally watered down artificial vanilla flavouring. It tastes like dirty water, no vanilla flavour whatsoever. Looking at the ingredient list says it all. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

Not Good!
Wish I read these reviews before I bought this at my Fresh Street Market. I'm afraid to use it because it doesn't smell right and has stuff floating around it. Lost my receipt otherwise I would've taken it back. What a waste of money!

Amazing from Mexico; product is not as good purchased within Canada
We initially purchased Villa Vainilla on our way back from Mexico, at the Duty Free shop. First, the price is way cheaper, even on the Villa Vainilla website (unfortunately they do not ship to Canada right now). The Vainilla was amazing! Made a huge difference in the test of our baked goods, and pancakes. We found this next on the Be Well site. It is expensive for a small bottle in comparison to what we paid at the duty free (3, 250 ml bottles for less than 1 of these), but we wanted to purchase more. It was okay but it was lighter in colour and did not appear as strong. We just purchased a 2nd one, and it was bad (floaters in it and did not smell right). We are trying to return it as we cannot use it and remain hopeful they will take it back. Highly recommend from Villa Vainilla, but experience with a Canadian purchase has not been good.
