Review on use on Combination skin
Really happy I got to try the set at a reduced price. I’ve always wanted to try the Weleda Skin Food original moisturizer but knew it would be too rich for my combination skin. While the cleanser wasn’t enjoyable for me, it did remove makeup and smelled lovely (the whole set does), I’ve decided that I still much prefer a foaming cleanser and therefore would not repurchase the cleanser. As for the creams, the Day lotion is fantastic. It’s lightweight and absorbs quickly and my skin feels fresh and hydrated. The Night cream is a heavier version of the Day cream. Because it’s summer, I only need Day cream for both morning and evening and will switch to the Night cream in evenings in fall and winter when my skin needs more moisture. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend it. If you are combination or oily, I would try just the Day cream first and go from there. I also want to give Weleda a shout out for using glass jars for their creams and aluminum tubes for ease of recycling and keeping more plastics out of our world! Cheers!
