The New Lid!!! Agggghhhh!
I received this today in Alpine Yellow. All good apart from the lid. Between us all the family must have 5 Yeti cups all with the gloriously easy work of genius that is the simple magnetic sliding lid mechanism. WHY, OH WHY? Did Yeti have to change the lid!!!!! Now we have locks and gaskets and bits INSIDE that are going to be getting covered in drink (making switching from tea to coffee more complicated than a quick rinse), I just don’t see what has been gained? The original magnetic lid was GENIUS. This is just a pain and I wish I’d never bought it.

Terrible Lid Design
I bought this mug after owning many other Yeti mugs and the lid makes me give this mug 1 star. Where you drink out of is far too deep and the liquid doesn't pour out normally. I spilled hot coffee all over myself the first time drinking it. The lid also is very difficult to get off. Also, we bought the Nordic Blue mug and it looks nothing like the color represented online. This is my first time being disappointed with a Yeti product and I have contacted them about these issues and they have not been of any help which has really surprised me as well.

Size Matters
Too small in comparison to the other 591 ml drinkware. I feel like I'm holding a kids up when I use it. And unless you only have stackable drinkware in this size, it's not convenient to store. Overall I think I'll return it. Also did not receive a complimentary Yeti sticker with this drinkware. YETI has gotten pretty chintzy. Can't even register the drinkware in this order because I checked out as a guest. Two thumbs down and I think it's time to shop for a different brand.

Horrible new lid
Absolutely hate this lid!! Have purchased many yeti's and am yeti loyal. But this new stronghold lid sucks. Every single time I go to drink, it spills and leaks all over me. I've tried turning the pieces around or trying to partially close it, but to no avail. I got the pink one and love the colour and size. Handle is also a great addition. But now I just fill my cup and leave the lid off so I stop spilling. I even tried to just use the lids with the magsliders but this new lid is a screw on so the other ones dont fit. Super annoying!!

Great quality, love the new magnetic close lid!
I had seen some people had mixed reviews on the magnetic close lid compared to the “original” one so I was curious to see how I’d like it, and I love it! It’s super easy to hand or dish wash, easy to assemble the pieces together, and doesn’t allow for leaking or seeping through the lid, not even when there’s any kind of pressure on the inside! I also love the travel mug with the handle, I have smaller hands and am clumsy so have dropped my non-handle one way too many times, it also still fits into my cup holder in my vehicle!!

Great cup. Colour leaves something to be desired.
Just received my cup in the mail. We've already got a couple in this size, so I knew I'd be happy with that, but have to say I was expecting the Ridgeline colour to be more of a mint shade based on the photos on the website, but in person it's more grey.
