Very Leaky!
I'm surprised this has so many high reviews because I feel there is a huge design flaw in the lid. My partner and I both received them for Christmas and neither of us will continue to use them because of how leaky they are. For a travel mug, you would expect to be able to walk with it, but the liquid comes right out of the lid even with the top closed. I'm used to having a sealed lid that I can throw in my bag, and I knew that this would not be the same, but I didn't realize how much hot coffee would be splashing out of the top as I walk. Would definitely not recommend for anyone who intends to move around with their mug.

Great product
I received this mug from my son as a Christmas gift.
I thought it would be like most travel mugs. Use it a few times and then toss it because it would either start leaking or not keeping things hot.
I own and run a small hobby farm that my children lovingly call the Funny Farm. And my constant companion is a mug of coffee in my hand.
My yeti has been beaten by my geese and ducks. Accidentally dropped into the pond. Thrown from the tractor. On one occasion forgot on the top of my car when I went to do an animal control call. (I looked out my rearview mirror and it was chasing me down the hill after it fell off.)
Claimed as a friend by an orphaned goose.
It's been hurled at rats, fox, and even a bobcat. It has become as well known as the purple housecoat in the Tales From the Funny Farm.
It may not look as pretty as when I unwrapped it but it still doesn't leak and it keeps my coffee hot.

Very hardy
After a house fire that burnt everything to the ground, my yeti cup was one of the only things still recognizable. Gave us a laugh on a serious day. Just goes to show how hardy Yetis are! You won’t be disappointed! đ

Happy with my first Yeti!
This is my first Yeti product. I’ve had it for a little while and no complaints! I use it for iced coffee and it keeps it really cold! I had my coffee in it for about 9 hours (when I bring it to work, I drink it slow) and it was still as cold as when I put it in there. Very impressed!

Super durable.
I bought 2 of these for myself about a year ago, for daily use at work. Doubled up so I could always have a clean one and never have to hand-wash. They’re still in immaculate shape after being through the dishwasher countless times, as well as dropped a few times. I also got the straw lid that fits the 887ml size, and I like that even more that the regular lid, although only for drinking cold things. All parts have stood up to continued use, washing, and dropping out of the side of a semi truck. I’m super impressed, ans now I have to get more since my husband has started using (and loving) whichever one I’m not currently using!

Keeps coffee warm but leaks!
I walk to work so I needed a mug that keeps my coffee hot and has a lid. I thought the yeti would be the perfect fit. It certainly keeps my coffee hot!! However, coffee leaks out of the mug. So much so that coffee ends up on my backpack. Is this normal?!?

Wish the Lid Didn’t Leak
I really wanted to like this more, especially given the +$50 price. Sunk cost fallacy. I now wish I bought 2-3 for the same price. I have used this almost every day for the last four months to walk my dog. Everything is as advertised, except the tumbler to lid connection, and spout. I can to tell you how many times coffee has accumulated on the outside lip, and has leaked on my lap or work clothes. Not sure if it is looking from the inside or just sticking to the side after taking a mouthful. I know it would not be right to review based on one tumbler, but I get the same result from my wife’s identical one.

great but...
love this cup and that i could buy the extra lid with the straw however I live in Canada and they do not offer registration for any Yeti products outside of the U.S. which is not very fair to me.. shouldn't they guarantee their products no matter where you live in the world?
