Rated 1 out of 5 by AndrsSJ from Very Leaky! I'm surprised this has so many high reviews because I feel there is a huge design flaw in the lid. My partner and I both received them for Christmas and neither of us will continue to use them because of how leaky they are. For a travel mug, you would expect to be able to walk with it, but the liquid comes right out of the lid even with the top closed. I'm used to having a sealed lid that I can throw in my bag, and I knew that this would not be the same, but I didn't realize how much hot coffee would be splashing out of the top as I walk. Would definitely not recommend for anyone who intends to move around with their mug.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShelbsV from great but... love this cup and that i could buy the extra lid with the straw however I live in Canada and they do not offer registration for any Yeti products outside of the U.S. which is not very fair to me.. shouldn't they guarantee their products no matter where you live in the world?

Rated 4 out of 5 by kpaigem from Awesome! But wish it was spill proof. I love this cup. Its perfect for a mom that doesn't always get to sit and drink a full cup of coffee at once. The only downfall is the lid is not spill proof. I knew that purchasing it, but didn't think it would be a huge deal for me because I just planned using it around the house. But I love it so much I take it everywhere now (sidenote: it fits great in a cupholder). When full, coffee will seep out of the lid if you hit a pothole or something and I've managed to spill it a couple of times with an armful of things, trying to get to the vehicle or in to work. If it had a spill proof lid I would give it 10 stars!

Rated 2 out of 5 by NDJ6546 from Hot does not stay Hot! Yeti is suppose to be a great mug, VERY DISSAPOINTING. I was happy with my mug in the beginning, except after 3 months, it began loosing its capabilities to keep my tea hot. Even if I heated my mug up by pouring boiling water in it and letting it sit for 5 minutes, then pour my tea in it. I had intended getting one as a gift for my sister, but after seeing how it performed, I changed my mind. I would not recommend it for keeping things hot for more than 2 or 3 hours. There are better mugs out there at a much cheaper price. Sorry Yeti.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tash13 from Tumbler is fantastic, lid could use some work. The tumbler itself is amazing, and actually better than I expected. The lid, however....could use some work. I understand that it's not a "leak-proof" lid, however, even when it's closed, I can't keep it in my stroller cup holder because coffee splashes out of it continually. Despite washing my mug and lid in warm, soapy water immediately after use, as recommended, I have also noticed some buildup under the slider part of the lid, which is impossible to get to. I would love to see a better-functioning lid, that matches the quality of the tumbler.

Rated 1 out of 5 by K Mirh from Product review I loved the idea of a Yeti, so I searched everywhere to find a beautiful purple one. Upon arrival I learned for keeping things cold it does great! For keeping things hot, which is what I use it mostly for, it misses the mark completely. I would say my coffee stays hot for 3 hours MAX. I am busy at work, and most days it takes me hours to actually finish my coffee. I have many cheaper travel mugs that stay hot for much much longer then my Yeti. The lack of a spill proof lid, or even a thermal lid is also an important feature they should have. Having to worry about spilling in my car, at work on in my lunch bag is annoying. I feel these would be great additions for them and may help keep things hot longer. Overall, I will continue to use my Yeti as it was a pricey purchase, however I will not be purchasing any further mugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BTSteck from Hot stays hot, cold stays cold. Got the 20oz tumbler for Christmas, was amazed that when filled with hot coffee, the coffee was still hot hours later. No heat transfer thru the sidewall. We are in Canmore Alberta, and when my Yeti was placed n the -15C cupholder in my Grand Cherokee that was parked outside overnight, the coffee stayed too hot to drink all the way to Calgary! That is a one hour drive! Finally had my last sip of hot coffee as I finished it off about 3 hrs later. Used it as a cocktail tumbler, left over ice was still ice the next morning. Amazing!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mattqc from A travel mug that does travel that well First and foremost let me preface my review that I ASSUMED this was a leak proof travel tumbler. Found in the product FAQ it clearly says this product is not leak proof. I unfortunately had to learn this the hard way. I gave this a 3/5 because as a MUG its great. Looks good. Keeps coffee hot for a long time. Easy to clean. As a travel tumbler, at most i can see it sitting in your car safely. NOT SAFE for public transport unless you want to sacrifice one hand to holding this tumbler the whole time.
