Great sun protection cream for the face!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was lucky enough to test and review ombrelle spf 60 for free by Glam Sense in exchange for an honest review. I loved this product and continue to use it as I think it is important to protect your face from harmful sun exposure such as UVA and UVB rays. My skin feels protected whether it’s sunny or not. I use it on regular basis on my face before makeup application. This lotion is light, non greasy and lasts for hours. It does not leave my face oily. It is also very affordable and can be found in a local pharmacy. It’s is very convenient for travel.

Very high SPF!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This sunscreen is pretty good. It is a bit thicker than I am used to but I love that it is SPF 60 which is hard to find in face products. I don’t notice that this leaves a white cast but I have a light skin tone so I’m not sure how this is on people with darker complexions than mine. I like that this is fragrance free and I felt like it wore nicely on my skin throughout the day without getting too greasy or pilling. Amazing moisturizing face sun screen!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I absolutely love this face sunscreen. It is lightweight, easy to apply, and very moisturizing to your skin. It is not greasy or oily on the skin either. It has no scent which I prefer on my face. As someone who is acne prone, this did not irritate my skin and rather just made it nice and smooth. I applied it under my makeup, as well as on its own and felt like it works well either way. It also absorbs fast and a little bit goes a long way! Decent face sunscreen
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This has a non -greasy texture and is fragrance free. There is no white cast after it has absorbed into skin. As a caucasian woman I am someone who does not burn (I just get very tanned) so I am not someone who usually wears 60 on my face or my body. Therefore I cannot say if this would be great protection for anyone with fair skin who is prone to burning. It also is not sweat or waterproof so I feel like this is a good sunscreen for everyday use to prevent wrinkles and sun damage. It also wears nice under make-up.

MUST HAVE!!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am giving this a 5 star because i am super picky with sunscreen products ! First this product has the very littlest scent of sunscreen! And if you tried sunscreen product it is super strong and the scent is unbearable.
2) the product is super light, and non sticky! And many spf products are sticky and heavy. Makes your face breakout !
I love this product and i will restock after i finish! I am super happy this product is non-comedogenic with antioxidant!
I highly recommend this product to my friends and family !

Light on skin and does not leave a white cast!

I would apply it on my skin in the morning and it would absorb very quickly without leaving any residue or a white cast on my face. It is very gentle and did not irritate my skin at all or bother my eyes. It also layers well under makeup. The consistency is very thin so it does not feel heavy and the scent is light, compared to other sunscreens, and within a few minutes you can no longer smell the scent on your face.

Love the way my skin feels!
I use a SPF lotion daily year round so I have tried quite a few over the last couple of years. I really liked this lotion, the finish is silky, doesn’t leave a greasy shine, and it’s less tacky than the SPF lotion I currently use. This lotion absorbs into my skin fairly quickly so I can apply my makeup over it almost immediately. It says it’s fragrance free but I think I notice a scent when it’s first applied. This isn’t water resistant so I need to use a different sunscreen in the water but otherwise it’s been great for everyday use. In the couple of weeks that I’ve been using this I haven’t had any breakouts. I am very happy with how this feels on my skin and I will be switching from my current brand.

Wonderful skin protection
Garnier Ombrelle Face SunScreen Ultra-Light Hydrating Cream SPF 60 is an amazing product that protects skin from the harmful effects of the sun. After applying the cream, I felt like I was doing my skin a huge favor that would protect it in the long term. The consistency is perfect, not too thick, nor greasy. Application was smooth and product was easily absorbed into my skin. My face looked and felt more hydrated as well! The scent was very fresh and light, and not overwhelming at all. Ingredients have been changed
Okay...the ugly truth is that the scientific research shows that two to three ingredients, titanium dioxide and zinc oxide (and possibly Mexoryl) are truly effective sunscreens. The other chemicals are far less effective, which means more exposure to skin cancer and wrinkles.
The problem is that both titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are thick, goopy and greasy. But they work, so I would just deal with the greasiness by touching up with powder.
The product I used last year is not available this year. The formula, 60 face (din #02280353), contained about 4% titanium dioxide, mexoryl sx and mexoryl xl and did not contain denatured alcohol. I lightly brushed some face powder over it to make it less greasy. It was perfect!
This year the ingredients have changed unfortunately. Any chance you would bring the old one back? I bought it in droves. Thanks!

Excellent Product
I am very impressed with this face sunscreen. First, it does not have a scent which I appreciate. Second, it does not leave a white cast on my face like other sunscreens can. Finally, it feels very lightweight on my skin and does not leave a greasy feeling at all. Very surprising for a 60 SPF sunscreen. This product also claims to be hypoallergenic, fragrance free (as I mentioned), colorant free, and non-comedogenic. I have been using this product for one month and agree with all of these claims. As an added bonus it also contains antioxidants and I am all for anti-aging products. I also want to mention that I can apply my face makeup directly over top with no problems.

Light, airy and perfect under makeup

The liquid is easy to apply and feels like silk. I love how the formula contains vitamin E and is very gentle/non-clogging on my sensitive skin. I don't find there to be a noticeable white cast once the product has soaked in, so it truly is ideal for wearing under makeup. I apply this with a foundation brush, or my fingers. Would highly recommend especially for those with irritable skin. #freeproduct

Amazing ultra-light cream
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had the opportunity to try the Ombrelle Ultra-Light Cream thanks to Glamsense campaign. I love the texture of this cream and the fact that has SPF 60 makes it for my skin even better. Works wonderful on my daily makeup routine, layers so beautiful giving me a glowing sheer , I do not use a primer anymore as the foundation glides evenly with no problem. Hypoallergenic, fragrance free, colorant free, not-comedonic with antioxidant makes it to be the perfect protection cream for me. I really love it and I will definitely buy it again.

Bring on the sunshine!

I've been using it for just over two weeks now and it is lightweight with hardly any fragrance, and it quickly absorbs into my skin. I am happy that this cream is for daily use as here in Sunny Alberta, it's sunny all-year-long regardless of the time of year. It works well under my makeup, and I hardly know it's there. Great SunScreen!
I tried my Ombrelle Face SPF Sunscreen 60 the other day since I knew I would be in the sun for most of the day. It went on so nicely and easily, not greasy at all and best of all it felt "ultralight" the whole time I was wearing it. It smells nice and doesn't have one of those overwhelming scents at all. I was a little nervous at first because I had never tried this sunscreen before and I am very fair-skinned, so I need a pretty high-proof sunscreen. This worked great and I never got a sunburn at all even after being out in the sun for quite a while. I'm a fan of this sunscreen and recommend it.

Very lightweight, but wish it had Mexoryl
This sunscreen is very lightweight and milky. It leaves no white cast behind. It is definitely a great option for oil prone skin.
My main drawback about it however is that it does not have L'Oreal's superb Mexoryl sunscreen filters. This honestly is the main reason I stick to Ombrelle rather than go buy sunscreen from other brands. Having a photostable filter for UVA is really important to me. If L'Oreal added Mexoryl into this formulation, this would definitely be my go to sunscreen hands down.

Feel Protected

I think this SPF 60 sunscreen is the highest number I have seen out there in the market. It's lightweight and no oily feeling, at the same time my skin feels protected. I usually apply this lotion right before my makeup and reapply every two hours to make sure no sunburns through the day. I am surprised this product goes gentle on my sensitive skin and no breakouts. It's a fragrance-free lotion. #freeproduct

Great Formula! Wears well under make-up!

It doesn’t have any strange smell as it’s fragrance-free, and it doesn’t have any greasy residue left behind after you apply it. I have combination skin and I find I can be quite sensitive to new products but this one is light enough and absorbs quickly that you don’t even notice it when under make-up. I found after wearing it all day it didn’t “break” my make-up either! I will definitely be buying as I wear sunscreen daily! Good face cream

I have oily skin so I don't usually tend to wear face creams because it can make my skin look really greasy. This cream was light but did leave my face looking a bit shiny. It has a nice light scent and does leave my skin feeling soft and supple. The spf is a bonus feature especially at 60! I would recommend to anyone looking for a light moisturizing cream that doubles as sun protection.

Finally the prefect answer

I was given this sunscreen to try, and I have to say that even in the dead of winter this added all the additional protection I needed without a greasy build up! I wore it between my primer and makeup and found I was able to skip my moisturizer!! My foundation stayed put and didn't notice any movement/creasing that would happen with other products...I'd be happy to state that come the summer months, this product has and will quickly become a staple in my daily regime

Amazing Lightweight Sunscreen!

I've tried many different sunscreens and they always feel very oily and tacky on my face until I tried this one. I thought this sunscreen was going to feel heavy and oily on the face because of its thick consistency but I was wrong, it's super lightweight, no white cast, feels hydrating but not OILY! I have a combination skin (more on the oily side) and this doesn't make me feel or look like a walking grease! Obviously, you will still look a bit shiny so a powder is a must for the T-Zone.

Great all around sunscreen
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried this fave sunscreen out on my trip to Florida. First off it’s under 100ml which makes it perfect to travel with. I used this twice a day. First thing in the morning and then mid day around 1pm. The texture is like a cream. I wouldn’t say it’s ultra light but it doesn’t feel heavy on my skin at all. There’s no greasy feeling which is a plus. There’s no scent. I noticed my skin is loving this product. Usually I get burnt on my face easily but not this time. It’s also 60 spf so I never had to worry about sun damage. I love this sunscreen and I would use it again.

Loved it!
Pros: This sunscreen is 60 spf which is perfect for the summer! I love how it doesnt have a a scent as I am quite sensitive to them. The product dries down to a matte finish and isn't sticky. Once it dries down it doesn't have a noticeable white cast thst is typical of many sunscreens (I have brown skin and this means A LOT to me). It also didn't sting my eyes which is a major plus in my book!
Cons: It takes time to dry/get absorbed into the skin. In my experience it took around 7 minutes.

Amazing!

I absolutely loved this, it soaks into the skin and doubles as a moisturizer which is great as I can just replace it for my moisturizer when I go on vacation and save time lol I am very pale and burn easily so spf lotion is something I have to wear in summer all the time and obviously on vacation. I have tried others that felt too thick on my face and made my makeup gross so this was definitely a step up and I got it just in time!!

Lightweight, gentle and scent free!

I hate sunscreens that smell all day, so this is a big selling point for me! It's also very gentle - other sunscreens (including ones advertised for face) make my eyes sting, and I didn't experience that at all with this cream. It is lightweight, but moisturizing - I've been using it in place of my normal SPF day cream, and my skin feels great. It absorbs quickly and leaves a satin finish. I will absolutely be buying another bottle once I run out - it's amazing!

I apply this every morning before my foundation and it provides such a great base. I found it had Very Little if no scent, which makes me very happy, as I tend to get headaches from heavily scented products. I love the fact that it's SPF 60, although I won't be able to test the effectiveness for at least a month or two when the sun gets strong. My new every day face cream? YES!!

The timing of receiving it was even better because I was on a hunt to find a sunscreen face cream and then got this product in the mail. It has the right blend of giving protection coverage and also just having an everyday day experience. Pretty good
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) With spring and summer quickly approaching I need to step up my daily SPF game. This face sunscreen comes out as quite a thick product. It absorbs quickly into the skin but for me I feel like it leaves that sunscreen residue on my skin that I don’t love. It’s not greasy per say as it is labeled as a non-greasy product and it doesn’t feel ‘heavy’ on my skin, I really only notice the residue if I am touching my face and I will notice it on my hand afterwards. While this isn’t my favorite face sunscreen, for the price point it’s not bad. I did not try this product with face makeup. Best unscented sunscreen

I put this sunscreen on in the morning after applying my moisturizer its light weight and absorbed in my skin instantly, i especially like that it doesn’t leave white marks on the skin and is odourless. I have combination skin at the end of the day i would say my forehead was maybe a little more greasy then usual. My recommendation would be to wash your face well every evening. Most people forget we should wear sunscreen everyday even if we stay inside the UVA that cause skin aging do go through windows. Amazingly Light and Totally Revitalizing!
My skin has changed so much as I entered my 40s, I am so much more sensitive to face creams, especially those containing SPF. This Ombrelle Face Cream is so light and airy, it quickly absorbed into my skin. I have been using it daily to test its effectiveness as a regular skin cream since it is now winter and the high SPF is not so necessary right now for me. I will definitely be using this product during my spring vacation and during the summer months. The cream is hypoallergenic as well as fragrant and colorant-free. I would definitely recommend this product!
