(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I really like the semi hold of this spray. It's not tacky or sticky, doesn't make my hair crunchy. The spray stream is so smooth, a nice light spray, it doesn't come out as a blast. However, I don't like the smell. It competes with my perfume, too overpowering, wish there was unscented version.

I don't use hairspray as my daily routine, but for special occasions this Hairspray works as it says, it doesn't leave the hair sticky, I like it, and I will be willing to keep using it even on regular days, just to help me a little bit with those rebels hairs that doesn't want to stay in place.

I'm not a fan of hairspray at all, I normally hate the way its makes my head feel, but this was amazing, I know when I need to do an updo or fancy hair Dove will be the hairspray I use, it make my hair stay where I needed too and didn't feel sticky or gross nor did it even look like it, awesome

I have used this hairspray a couple times since receiving it. It most definitely is a flexible hold as you don't even notice it in your hair or even doing anything, but it does! Doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy and smells great too!

It leaves a nice shine to the hair and keeps your hair style from going frizzy or getting fly-aways. It has a light scent, but it is not over powering.

I have very stubborn hair that needs to be almost glued into place with a maximum, extreme, mega, etc type of hold. I would recommend it for those who have hair that behaves well and needs a slight hold.

I found this hairspray was good to use on baby hairs, and to give yourself a more sleek look. However, it isn't very strong. I did like that it didn't make my hair crunchy.

However, my hair is fine and this does not give enough to hold my hair for intense styles. It will give a nice polished look and keep fly aways at bay.
I do not like the heavy scent.

I love how it's not as sticky and hard as some other hairsprays I have tried. It also comes out in a nice mist, which helps you control how much hairspray you are using.

Actually, I use the spray as a styling tool too. I spray and then comb. As for the smell, I love it also. It has a fresh/powder odor. I would buy this product in bulk!

This is the first time I've ever used or been near a hair spray that didn't smell like chemicals. Before this experience, when I thought of "hairspray". I'd recall the 80's spray that left hair all sticky yet hard. Dove Style+Care Flexible Hold Hairspray is completely opposite to that old stuff. It's a nice relief to use hair spray that works how I want it to. The button is even easy to press down on with my arthritic fingers. A win all around! :)
After spraying my hair, I found that it keeps frizz away for hours! I can still run my hand through my hair and it feels soft and healthy to the touch.
The price seems to be about average - I got this can free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Because of what it did to combat against frizz - I will purchase this hairspray again when my review bottle runs out. Thank you!

It was able to keep my "side burns" tucked behind my ear all day! My daughter used it to playing dress up with her sister and said it smelt good =)

I don't usually style my hair every day, but I'll do a side braid, french braid, or half up style. More intricate styles are reserved for weekends and nights out. I have naturally curly, long hair that just loves to frizz!
I have used Dove Style + Care Flexible Hold daily for the last several weeks, and have found it meets my needs for a daily hairspray. Sprayed onto a brush and brushed through my hair, it helped to smooth down frizz. Spritzed on before and after curling led to curls that slightly relaxed yet lasted all day.
It didn't quite hold up to a half up/down crossover style, but it is also a flexible hold spray. I would have to try a strong hold next time.
Overall, I would repurchase. I like the aerosol can, the scent isn't objectionable and the quality is great for the price.

Not only does it have terrible hold strength but the strong perfume smell of it is so overpowering I won't even use it again if I run out of my other brand.

I am not much of a hairspray person but I've started to use this almost daily to smooth those little baby hairs that stick up after I blow dry. It works really well and my hair never feels like it has product in it.

Also a great way to keep updo's held tight. It also doesn't leave your hair feeling sticky or hard, which is definitely a plus.
