Very stiff. Too thick to fit inside the toaster when the bread is in. Not like other wooden toaster tongs.

I gave it to my husband. He uses it to turn meat.

Ditto - too stiff. Probably good for big hands or big foods like bagels.

I got these for my 10 year old daughter because she's at that age where she wants to be independent but of course I worry about her burning herself with the toaster. They are quite stiff but she managed. Not tool long after we got them, they snapped, not entirely though so she can still use them and they're actually easier for her to grab with. But I don't think they will stay this way for ling before they completely break off. It was good while it lasted :)

Mia: more than a year ago

I thought they were a little too big and too stiff so it's difficult to grab the bread from the toaster.

Good product for the price but like others have said, I find them quite stiff.

Nancy: more than a year ago

I found these quite stiff so they don't grab onto a thinner slice of bread very easily.

I already own the bacon tongues...they are handy and quite sturdy, so these are the same just shorter. Unfinished bamboo makes them ideal for fishing/squeezing tea bags[hot or cold] out of the tea pot or your cup etc., which in this case is their sole purpose. The ends will stain from the tea but at this price you can buy a few for different uses including what they were designed for...hot toast...all good.

For the last 10 years at least, I have used a plastic pair and LOVE them; so I thought I would buy a pair for each of my adult kids - they lasted about 5 minutes each while I was showing them to someone... Will try to find the plastic ones

They work as they are supposed to. It's much easier to use than trying to fiddle toast out with a knife. The tongs were a bit stiff at first but with use they work themselves in. Great buy for the price.

This definitely served it's purpose but harder to control than other tongs I have tried would love to have it more malleable so that control is not an issue.
