Not good as an air freshener
Used it for two weeks so far. Smelled great upon opening and for a day afterwards. After that the smell dissipated (unless I stick my nose right up to it). Using it in a medium-sized bathroom. However, since using it I haven't noticed any lingering bad smells. So I guess it's kind of doing its job. Wouldn't buy it again since I primarily wanted it for a nice scent in the bathroom.

Purifies perfectly
As other reviews stated, you don't get a scent from this unless your face is right in it. That was ok by me because I wasn't looking to mask a scent with another. Placed the box under a dresser and haven't noticed nasty smells since. My only tip is to open over a sink as some of the charcoal spilled out. Will def buy again.

Should have listened to other reviews. This is underwhelming. I used it in my car and it was great for a week and is now sort of reducing odor but doesn't smell like apple and basil anymore. Save your $$

Doesn't last more than a couple of days
Bought this in spite of dubious reviews...should have listened. It made my car smell nice for a couple of days then didn't do anything

perfect
I use these in the mudroom for all those nasty smells. It does not make your room smell fake and flowery, just clean smelling. My big farm dog sleeps in the mudroom so this air freshener is essential .
