Honestly, this is not only the best sunscreen (natural or otherwise) I've tried, it's in another category altogether. I've been using it for a few weeks on my very dry, ageing and eczema-prone skin without any irritation. It goes on over my moisturizer in a thin but creamy layer, and once it's on you don't feel it, smell it or know it's there. It does take a bit of soap to get off the fingers, and it stays all day (the tint shows when I use natural makeup remover at night). And most important, it works! I got a painful sunburn on my (unprotected) arms from an afternoon hike, but my face was fully protected. I now have the body lotion too.

First of all the tint is useless for me since IâÂÂm light to medium skin tone Asian ....it DOES give me a white cast which is more obvious than the white cast with my Andalou naturals nontinted beauty balm . Secondly if you go through ingredient list you will find cyclopentasiloxane,
And polymethylsilsesquioxane which are complex forms of silicones which makes it a task to get this thing off my face. I always use an oil cleanser or balm to break down my spf and then after washing my face I go on with my favourite Pacifica kale detox cleanser ... even then I can feel it on my face. I will only be using it for a day on the beach , not a good daily spf for me.

I see others have given five stars, but I cannot recommend this for someone who has a delicate or dry skin. The tint gets stuck on the dry parts of my face, the product does not come off with my usual natural (creamy) facial cleanser, they just created together a weird white layer on my face. Even if I rinsed several times, it was still there. Finally used soap (that I should not use), but it still have an odd layer of stuff on my face, and the mesh filter in our bathroom sink got waterproofed, water did not go through it. I have to add, that I have had other face sunscreens, and never had a problem to remove them with my facial cleanser.

Excellent product. Perfect for my sensitive skin. I love the tint but I need to mention that as I am very fair and pale, the tint is a little bit orange on me. I think it oxidizes slightly after application, leading to the very slight orange hue. I don't mind wearing it in the summer as my tan hides the tinge as long as I blend it well, but it is too dark for my winter pale once my tan fades. Regardless, I happily wear this every day during summer and fall months, and am on my second bottle. It's by far the best spf 50 for the face. And a great value for the generous size tube!!!

Great product!
I have bought Australian Gold Botanical 3 times now and am very happy with it. I have normal but sensitive skin and it goes on smoothly ( after I initially put some moisturizer on as I normally do) and it stays on until I remove it at night. I haven’t had any issues as others have posted re: tint changing color, product changing texture or skin drying out. I believe we all have different reactions to skin products and it’s largely trial and error finding what’s best for one’s skin! It’s not fair to say the product itself is the problem when it may not be the right one for your skin color or type. For that reason, I will give this a 5 star rating because I think it’s the best one I’ve found for me! And I have tried many! Thanks Australian Gold!

Unless you have very dry skin (and even then you would only need to add a moisturizer step before this sunscreen) you will love this sunscreen! Very silky slip due to the silicone, feels light on the skin, tint is great for light to medium skin tones, has no fragrance, does have some skin-friendly anti-oxidants. Really great sunscreen, can be worn alone or under foundation and the price is reasonable too! I hope well.ca will continue to carry this year-round as we need sunscreen protection (especially for the face) every single day of the year.

I have used this once and was very happy with the ease of application and the way it balanced my complexion. Usually I don't like Tinted Moisturizers with SPF because they have a strong scent. This product has a very subtle mineral scent that was only noticeable before it fully absorbed. I specifically bought this SPF because it is tinted and am pleased with it. I also am happy that it did not cause a breakout, a problem I have had with other SPF moisturizers and tinted moisturizers.

I like this product very much. The colour is good for my skin tone, it can be used as an ocular sunscreen (doesn't cake and settle in the fines lines), it is not greasy, and it is under 100 ml so it would be good for plane travel. It mattifies on the skin, which may not be the best for people with dry skin, though. I gave the product a lower rating because it contains PEG and dimethicone, which are questionable substances. I like my products to be as pure as possible. Having said that, I really like the feel and performance of this tinted sunscreen and may use it occasionally.
