Good body wash but hated the scent
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Body Wash Cocoa Butter Vanilla Scent for free in exchange for my honest review. I liked the body wash because it was moisturizing and non-stripping. My skin feels great after using it. However, I hated the scent. I expected it to smell more like vanilla or decadent cocoa. Instead it smells very muted and mostly powdery - made me think of something someone much much older would use. The formula is good so I'll keep trying to use this and try to cover the scent up with some better scented moisturizer, but I was really disappointed by the scent.

My skin was very well hydrated!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Its texture is thick. It doesn't lather excessively, but it's a decent amount. It feels very soft. After showering with this product and toweling off, I ran my fingernails across my legs (like scratching myself) to test how hydrated my skin was; the result was that the marks from my nails disappeared immediately, it means my skin was very well hydrated! Its fragrance is very light, delicate and pleasant; I think it smells like ice cream. I don't like that it needs to be shaken before use, as this could easily be forgotten; there should be a note on the front of the bottle reminding you of this.

This is my new favourite body wash
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have tried several Aveeno body washes so I knew what to expect for gentle cleansing and soothing oat ingredients. But this one exceeded my expectations. Exceptional moisturizing - like, so good you could skip your lotion! It also has an incredible scent - warm, cakey vanilla. It is a strong enough scent but I wouldn't say overpowering. It can be detected on you by others, but not so strong you'd get in trouble for using it while working in a scent-free workplace.
Overall a great product. Pearly and rich, it makes a thick lather and adds what feels like a bit of luxury to your shower.

Great body wash, not so great scent
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This body wash is a dream for dry skin, providing incredible hydration that leaves my skin feeling soft and deeply moisturized all day. I really appreciated that the brand formulated a scented option specifically with sensitive skin in mind as my usual reactive skin didn’t have any reaction whatsoever. However I found the fragrance itself to be a bit off putting, leaning heavily into a potent, musky vanilla rather than something lighter. The scent is incredibly long lasting, which is great if you enjoy it, but it’s not the right match for me. If this had a scent I liked, it would be an easy 5/5.

Clean, smooth and comfortable skin
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am absolutely loving this Aveeno Cocoa Butter Vanilla line. It has such a comforting scent and does not smell too intense. After every wash, my skin feels soft and healthy. I like that this body wash does not dry out the skin. It creates a nice gentle lather which feels amazing on the skin. The body wash rinses off easily without leaving any greasy residue. I love how the skin feels clean, smooth and comfortable after every shower. I have also been using the body lotion from the same Cocoa Butter Vanilla line and it works great together. Definitely a must-have in bodycare routine.

Smells Amazing and Leaves Skin Soft

New Aveeno for Sensitive Skin
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Beautiful & lightly scented with cocoa butter and vanilla. I did the suggested 3 days of trying the moisturizing lotion and body wash. This is hands down the nicest lotion and body wash that I've tried in a very long time. The lotion feels silky when it's applied and it's not greasy at all. Being that I'm a natural redhead I love that it didn't irritate my extremely sensitive skin and the fragrance wasn't overpowering like some other brands, even when layered. I noticed a visible improvement with my skin not being dry and flaky and will highly recommend it to my family and friends.

A basic product?
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love that the scent of this isn't overwhelming and that it really does have a "luxurious lather." However, that's about it for me; there is nothing remarkable about this product except some of the detriments. The slimy feel of it before lathering was almost to the gross level, so it's good that it lathered pretty quickly on a loufa. Unfortunately, while it left my skin sort of soft(?), it felt MORE DRY at the same time, and the gentle formula actually seemed to cause some strange, mild itching/tingling on my hands, feet, and wherever else was particularly dry before using the body wash. I don't have particularly sensitive skin and have never had that happen with other washes-- certainly not with my current preference!
No thanks, for me.
