This fragrance-free formula combines nourishing oat and mineral actives for a broad spectrum formula. Aveeno Protect + Soothe Face Mineral Sunscreen has a lightweight, non-greasy formula that rubs in effortlessly. This broad spectrum SPF 30 helps protect from harmful UVA and UVB rays to help prevent sunburn and signs of premature aging due sun exposure. This face sunscreen is water-resistant for up to 80 minutes making it a great choice for swimmers and other athletes.

Directions: Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and right after towel drying.

Warning: For external use only. Do not use on broken skin. When using this product avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help right away. Store at 15-30C. Do not use if safety seal on tube is broken or missing. May stain some fabrics.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quite possibly the WORST sunscreen...ever. I was searching for a new face sunscreen that doesn't sting the eyes, and this sounded promising. Boy, was I wrong. This is about the least cosmetically elegant sunscreen for the face I have ever tried -- it immediately started pilling like crazy as soon as I started to rub it in. On top of that, I looked like a gray/blueish/purple alien (even with my very fair/pale complexion). And the icing on the cake was that I started to break out into hives and one of my eyes started to swell within 5 minutes of putting it on. I immediately washed it off, and thankfully within a few hours (and after a Benadryl just in case), the hives started to go down. HUGE disappointment, to say the least. Do NOT recommend.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Update to my previous review Unfortunately, the other reviewers were right. The sunscreen balls up excessively. I try to be very gentle with the application of the sunscreen, but it starts peeling into dry flaky pieces right away anyways and everytine. I then have to spend so much time picking off the pieces of my skin making me feel like I am not getting full sun protection because I’m too scared of spreading the sunscreen over my face to get rid of the white cast and make sure the coverage is everywhere. I don’t think I can keep using this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not sweat proof I wore this sunscreen to a outdoor craft fair on a hot and humid day. When I got home, I found this sunscreen had run down my face and was collecting all my facial creases (side of the nose, corners of my mouth, bottom of my sunglasses on my cheeks, etc). Although, the formula was nice on my sensitive skin, it didn't perform as I expected.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Peels a lot! This sunscreen feels really soothing on the skin. It takes less time to absorb compared to other Aveeno sunscreens but sadly it keeps peeling off. I have tried waiting hours after using my moisturizer to see if would still peel, sadly it does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features! I just bought this sunscreen! I really care about the ingredients when it comes to my skincare. I made sure to research every single ingredient from the list on the package before buying the product. All ingredients, with the exception of 1, is highly rated (as being good for the skin). The sole ingredient (exception) is a plastic and I could not find a rating for it. This is however already a very solid ingredient list as a lot of other sunscreens have harmful ingredients like denatured alcohol and fragrance. I have used another mineral sunscreen in the past with a comparable cost and this Aveeno sunblock is way less greasy and thick (when applied/spread on skin)! I was amazed because I thought that this was a drawback I would have to sacrifice for good mineral sunscreen… I’m glad it’s not the case because I used to dread and almost avoid applying sunscreen on my face in the morning because I get overwhelmed by texture on my face (from products be it skincare or makeup). I’m so happy I found this sunblock! Now, I don’t have to go all day feeling suffocated by heavy sunscreen on my face! The only other flag that I have is that it does have a subtle white cast, but I don’t think it’s very noticeable and is worth it if you are looking to really give your skin that great protection. I have not experienced peeling which is mentioned in the 2 other reviews. I’m looking forward to keep using this sunscreen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this product! First time using this product and it left a white film on my skin! So much so, we had to keep rinsing to get the white film off ever after swimming in the ocean! Very disappointed 😔
