Very hard on lower back
Baby is now 19 months, 20 lbs (slim and tall girl). Her extremely fit Mum used this several times a day for dog walks since baby was 3 days old. Her grandmother (me) has an active job but a bit overweight.
The BB One carrier was comfortable for Mum until about 2 lbs ago; she feels it hard on the lower back now. I have always had lower back pain with this carrier, even when Baby was 10 lbs. All waist/hip straps etc ARE adjusted as well as they can be. Have read manuals and watched videos..
As a new Mum in the early 1990's, I had a front carrier, basic thing, and a back "camping" style carrier, also really basic. All the baby's weight was supported on the hips. The back carrier especially had no weight on the shoulder straps, they just held it close to the body.
The BB carriers have a million straps and buckles but this just seems to complicate the process of donning and doffing the thing, rather than providing easy full support for the person carrying the baby.
Would not buy this again.

Fits all sizes
I had an original and bought this for ergonomic hip placement for baby number 2 because I used my other one so often.
Like the fabric, the many different adjustment options and how well it fits me (post pregnancy number 2 and nursing). Have nursed with this on occasionally, using part of the directions on how to put baby on your back without help.
Wear it all the time sailing and being active outside (summer is short in Canada) and find I didn't need the mesh option.
Dislike having to put it over my head to get it on and off (wearing hats sailing). Find the adjuster on the back slides up occasionally, so I need to ask hubby to bring it down. Wish there were more loops for straps, as my size I'm about 1 cm from the loop to hold straps. Wish there was a pocket for a debit card and cellphone, as I would leave my purse behind then.

Great carrier
Great carrier. It's comfortable and baby seems to really enjoy it. It can be a bit tricky to navigate at first, but there's a youtube tutorial that shows how to carry baby in all positions. My only suggestion is to slow down the pace of the youtube video showing how to put the carrier on and how to place baby in carrier safely. Otherwise great product!

Great Purchase
I love this carrier. My son is five months old and after trying three other carriers this is the only one I can carry him in for hours and never feel sore or strained. I love all the adjustments and can't wait to see how it works when he is bigger. I hope the stitching doesn't rip out when he is much heavier, but it looks well made. Thank you!

A definite must buy!
I bought this for our baby girl. i am a first time mom so did a lot of research before purchasing and i am so very happy with this baby bjorn carrier. Super safe, super comfortable. Some people miss having a 'hood' but i don't seem to mind it at all.
love it!

Great design!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love my baby carrier one! I have an old version of a bjorn, a Tula and a wrap that I used for my first child but my second child was bigger and needed something different. I love how easy it is to switch between having baby face in or out. Simple zippers change the positioning of baby’s legs so that they are ergonomically correct and small, easy to adjust draw strings pull baby’s head close to your chest (if you want). There is also the option to use the carrier with newborns without having to purchase an additional insert. The carrier is much easier to put on compared to many other structured carriers (you just slide it over your head)! My friends with Tula’s and Ergo’s are always asking for me to do up their back buckle. What I love most about this carrier is that it is the most structured well thought out carrier I have used (and I’ve used a lot). It’s not trying to be cute and match your outfit, it’s trying to make sure that you and baby have the support and structure you need to be healthy and happy!
