What makes Everist different than traditional shampoo? Everything.
Most shampoos are more than 70% water, made from petrochemicals and packed in single-use plastic. Everist is haircare meets skincare. They took out the water, packed in the skincare ingredients and concentrated it down into a luxe cream to make haircare that is better for the planet and amazing for your hair and scalp.
Includes zero-waste tube key. 50+ washes per tube (equivalent to a traditional 300ml/ 10.2fl oz water-filled shampoo bottle).
Directions: In the shower, wet hair and hands. Place metal tube key provided over top of tube and roll down gently to dispense a 1 inch strip of the concentrate (1/3 your normal dose). Rub over wet hands to activate and lather up in very wet hair, building a creamy lather. Rinse well. 50+ washes per tube.

Great Idea, Needs Improvement
I was intrigued by this product. I think it’s a super cool concept and i found it worked well on my hair and the directions were relatively straight forward. However, i did have issues getting it out of the tube, you kind of need three hands to do it effectively. I think this product would be easier if it was in a aluminum(or something else sustainable) tub to scrape out because of its consistency. I fear the less-abled may have a hard time using this.I also had to use way more than the recommended amount. I really like this idea i just feel it could be improved!

Still deciding, but makes my curly grey hair excessively poofy, changes the color and packaging is a pain
I have 50% grey, short curly hair (C-curls) on the dry side but with an itchy scalp if I don't wash my hair every 3 or so days. This shampoo is harder to lather up than most because it comes out like a chunk of soft wax, and leaves my hair soft but the ends are still dry. Packaging is annoy--opening a can with wet slippery hands is challenging, as is removing the lid from the aluminum tube (open before you get wet!). Main issue is that it leaves my hair really poofy after air drying-- it changes the curl pattern to a very loose C and that springs outward--requiring lots of styling product to control (reg shampoos don't do this). I also note that my silvers are going blond, so I need a purple shampoo to counter that. I am still making up my mind...

Packaging is troublesome but product works well.
While I like the idea of reducing packaging and plastic but the packaging does need some rework. When in the shower, your hands are wet and trying to screw off the tiny top and rescrew the top back on is a challenge. Also, with the metal screw at the top of the tube when used as directed ends up forcing out more than the recommended amount and there is no way to get it back into the tube. So I’m finding the price is not worth it. But the product itself is ok. The smell is stronger than I’d like and would prefer a more floral smell instead.

Love this shampoo
This shampoo is made with aloe, rosemary oil, and peppermint oil among other natural plant oils. It has a super thick texture that is activated when combined with water to give a rich, creamy lather. It helps to strengthen and visibly repair your hair with all-natural bond repair technology and stimulates healthier, thicker, fuller hair. This rinses out easily, helps hydrate instead of drying out your hair and leaves it feeling light and clean instead of weighed down and is also perfect for those with dry or sensitive scalp. I love that this is also more eco-friendly with the recylable tube and takes up way less space than traditional bottles of shampoo.

a Shampoo worth trying
The Shampoo Concentrate is a dense microfoam out of the tube and activated with water. It's easy to use and transforms into a soft lather. An inch of product is all you need; however, if you have thick and long hair like me, you might need a little extra. It's easy to rinse out of your hair and it's gentle on the scalp. I love that these formulas are waterless. It makes them easy and convenient to take with you on travels. My only qualm about the aluminum tube packaging is that there is risk of over squeezing and having too much product dispensed. However, love that is recyclable. My hair felt so hydrated after washing. And I also really enjoyed the uplifting and herbal scent. I found it so therapeutic and calming.

Meh shampoo--the packaging is awful
This is a decent enough shampoo--I like the smell and how it works after the second lather (the first just doesn't seem to actually wash), but I find the product so concentrated--it's almost hard--that it doesn't blend well with water to get it going. Also, it's really expensive for what it is (there are cheaper brands that work just as well for a sensitive scalp). But what I really loathe is the metal tube with a tiny cap that's hard to work in the shower, and it's hard to get stuff out once you are nearing the bottom of the tube so you end up wasting a significant amount. The tins are even harder to open with wet slippery hands, and of course, none of this sits nicely in a standard shower caddy so they are always falling out. Shampoo is OK--packaging is terrible.

Feels like Magic!
Everist continues their commitment to sustainability with their Shampoo Concentrate, and I’m loving it! One of the first things you'll notice about this product is its innovative packaging. Everist delivers their shampoo in a compact, recyclable tube that helps with minimizing waste. For my medium-long hair I use a 1.5-inch strip of product. It only takes a bit of water added to the product in my palms to activate into a nice rich lather. The formula itself contains ingredients like aloe vera, coconut oil and glycerin, which help to hydrate and soften the hair while promoting a healthy scalp. Great product for both your wallet and the environment.
This product was sent to me for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Awkward packaging
It is difficult to handle the tube, a small cap and the key with wet hands in the shower. More product has gone down the drain than on my hair. Also, the key forces too much out of the tube, which is wasteful. Once caps are off you can't tell which tube is shampoo and which is conditioner. Would help if the words Shampoo and Conditioner were as big as company name. As for the shampoo, I found it was heavy on my fine hair making it quite flat.
