Great for oily skin!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Since I started using this face wash daily, I have noticed that I get less blackheads and my skin texture is smoother and more vibrant. I love that this is a 1% salicylic face wash, as salicylic is known to get deep into pores and dissolve dirt. It's gentle enough to be used every day and not harsh on the skin like a leave-on acid treatment. The charcoal also helps pull dirt out of pores so this wash has been great at keeping my oily skin clean. This wash is reasonably priced and comes with about 3 months worth. I recommend to anyone with oily skin. #trywithtopbox #gotitfree

This cleanser leaves skin clean and refreshed
I received this #freeproduct to try in exchange for my honest review. Biore's acne clearing cleanser works by removing excess oil from the face, managing sebum and oil production which is one of the factors that cause acne to grow. While this product is a tad harsher on the skin (dry it out a bit more), it works well with a good moisturizer afterwards and leaves my skin very refreshed and squeaky clean. I love that the product comes in a pump bottle rather than a screw cap because it allows me to quickly move through the cleansing step of my regimen. The cleanser is very affordable too which is another plus when you're not fussy and are just looking for a simple cleansing product.

Medicinal smell, strong cooling effect
I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.
I used this twice a day for a few days. Initally it was a decent cleanser; I've used charcoal based cleansers in the past with decent results There medicinal smell overpowered the orange scent. The wash wasnt overly harsh on my oily skin; definitely something I could use regularly. I figured it was a decent product for the price point until about half way through. All of a sudden the scrub had a very strong cooling effect. Rinsing made it worse. After a few minutes it went away but it is something that isn't necessary.

Started great now I have far worse problems
Started using this face wash three weeks ago based on the reviews. I have sensitive yet oily skin. The first week it cleared up my skin....some purging which I thought was normal...second week I started noticing dryness but thought it was just my skin getting used to it....third week I developed a lumpy texture to my skin, redness/rash around my cheeks, chin and eyebrows that appears like a chemical burn....I stopped using the product three days ago and the redness and lumpy texture is going down but my eyebrow area is still red and now I'm breaking out after going back to my previous skin routine....completely horrible experience for me and I'm hoping my skin returns to normal....really really awful

Good Intro. to Charcoal Products
I've been wanting to try Charcoal products for a little while now but was never sure what to go with. I received this, along with the Charcoal Acne Scrub #freeproduct, and have used it for almost one week. It usually takes 1-2 weeks for me to know if a product works for my skin or not. After one week, existing breakouts do seem less red/irritated and after cleansing my skin doesn't seem dry and doesn't have the dreaded tight feeling. I have oily skin and am prone to cystic acne. So far, I do like this product and plan to continue using it until I'm done with it. Currently, I would RP.

Great for your skin!
I love this product so much! I've used it before and got this recently in my topbox circle box. Typically I used this in the day time and the corresponding scrub in the night, but I use this every other day I'm not using the scrub at night, At first this product was really intimidating because I wasn't sure how the charcoal would react with my skin, but I'm glad I tried it! It smells decent, not chemically or overpowering, just normal. It really helped my skin dry down a little since I have extremely oily skin. It prevented breakouts and helped me fight the existing ones. #freeproduct

Perfect for acne prone skin!
I got this Charcoal Acne Clearing Cleansed for free with TopBox to try it out and I am really glad I got it! There is not a lot of cleansers I like for my skin, but this one helps a lot with my oily skin. I use it at night after taking off my makeup to make sure I go to sleep with a perfectly clean face. Afterward, I use the Acne Scrub from the same line every other day. I like the smell of these products too, it smells what charcoal products usually smells, but with a nice citrus smell in it too. I also looked at the price and it’s really affordable so that’s a plus! #freeproduct

Great cleanser for fighting acne!
This is a great cleanser for those with acne. Unlike other acne fighting cleansers I have tried, it actually dries up and shrinks my pimples, even on the very first use. I was very impressed! I also liked the fresh, citrusy scent and the cooling feeling the cleanser has when applied. I did find the cleanser to be a bit drying especially since it's winter but continue to use it because of its effectiveness. I only use it on the parts of my face with breakouts and a different cleanser on the other parts when I wash my face in the morning and at night.
